If you only need to mix a small amount of 2-stroke oil and gasoline, this is not a great product. Before buying, take a look at the mixing options on the bottle. Otherwise, it's a nice solid bottle.

At last, I can mix my oil/gas accurately!

Like most, I would go to the local home improvement store a buy a few of those little bottles of 2-cycle oil. When I got home, I would wonder why they make these bottles a solid color making it impossible to SEE how much you're pouring into your gas can. For example, Husqvarna makes solid black bottles. Of course there would be no problem for me if the bottles were exactly 2.6 ounces for my 50:1 ratio mix, but I buy the larger bottles of cycle oil which cost less overall.

This IGNITION PRODUCTS 9160 OIL/GAS MIXING BOTTLE solves the problems I mentioned.

The only surprise this bottle is HUGE! I'll soon upload a photo compared it next to other ordinary items so you get a better idea of its actual size. For now, I'll say it's holds around 1 quart, or is equal to a large size sports drink bottle, and it's taller than a quart of oil.

As for its basic function, it has clearly marked lines for how much oil to pour in relative to how much gas (in gallons) that you wish to mix. A caveman could do it. I prefer to pour in the appropriate amount of oil and then pour in some gas to dilute the mixture a bit making it easier to then pour into my gas can. If I didn't do it this way, cycle oil would remain "stuck" to the sides of the oil/gas bottle.

Improvements could be made:

the bottle cap/mouth is rather small, which makes it more difficult to pour gas into the bottle

the bottle is freakin' HUGE! I would be happy with a smaller PINT size mixing bottle with a wider low profile

an alternate choice with a wider cap/mouth: Shoreline Marine Oil Mixing Bottle

In summary, I'm happy that I can now accurately mix my gas and 2-cycle oil.

This bottle isn't a perfect solution, but it's much better than guessing.

If you like to pre measure your oil and take it to the field, this is the way to go.

it seals up nicely so you won't have to worry about contaminating the oil prior to use.

I've seen others use the open gradiant funnels but those are bulky, messy and do not seal so its not a good idea to pre measure the oil/gas ratio for quick fill ups at the gas station.

Get this bottle if you want to pre measure and store your oil.

Its a soft plastic bottle w/a scale on it. it does what it supposed to. A fancy measuring cup..

but the cap seal is a bit weak allows it to either 'pop' off if squeezed of seep.

Now we all know that its gonna be oil in here, messy smelly stroke oil, so keep it in a secure place.

To perfect this abetter cap w/ more threads would be nice & maybe somehow designing the cap to pour easier/neater/cleaner.

Using this for pre-mix on muy jet ski I fill up on the water, this means I travel w/ it full of oil & then pour into the tank while gassing up in the inlet. Let's just say it could be messy pouring this into the tank when your sitting on the dock & your ski is bibbing around from the waves/swells.

Carrying rags, a funnel & a place to keep this becomes a bit much. KISSWorks, take your time, store upright where it wont get squeezed & your ok. Same as all the others on the market, way easier than the Rite cup thing.
