I've used Fram Oil Filters for years. I use synthetic oil and this filter. I can drive extended miles before I need to change my oil when I use synthetic oil and this particular filter. Changing my oil isn't my favorite thing to do. But I feel confident in driving my car farther between oil changes when I use this filter.

This product is the same model number as the old Xtended Guard filter: Model XG4967.
This was designed to run synthetic oils and filter at the same high levels of other performance oil filters, but beats them on the price.
I usually find the filter to be cheaper here on Amazon than at my local Walmarts or Auto supply stores, especially with the two options for free shipping.

Its a oil filter not much to say. If you are looking at these then you care about your car or are using the old put some synthetic in it and forget about it for the next year or two. Not much to say other than it was cheaper on amazon at the time of my purchase than from a local parts store by a couple of bucks.

Easy to install, good quality filter. I use this filter with Mobil 1 and a restore 4 cylinder formula in my 93 Corolla 7AFE and you can see the engine is clean and it has a lot of power even though it has more than 130000 miles.

It's an oil filter, so not much to say. It fit and sealed well. Quality seems good, but without taking it apart and looking at the construction, I just have to 'trust' the Fram name. I do like the "sure grip" feature (rubberized end cap to make hand-tightening the filter easier. When removing the filter, the rubber also gives my filter wrench a better grip, as well.)
