I am a mechanic by trade. I was taught the old saying,"There's nothing cheaper than a quart of oil". These filters are the same as you purchase at the auto parts or lawnmower shop but come to me door with only 3 day ground delivery time. I purchase a quantity so I always have them for oil changes on my lawn tractor. There is a sizable savings too.

I bought this for my John Deere L118 riding lawnmower. I wanted to stock up, but they only had one, so I also bought a wix filter. Both seem to keep the oil a bit cleaner for a longer period of time than the one I got from John Deere, and these are a whole lot cheaper. Fram makes a good product and I'd have no problem recommending this.

Perfect fit replacement oil filter for my Craftsman 42" mower with a Briggs & Stratton engine. Have used Fram filters on my car in the past without any issues, so as long as my oil gets filtered, I have to give it 5 stars.
