Don't skimp too much on oil and filters. Paying a little more for sythentic oil and good filters are cheap over the life of your car. I have 3 vehicles with over 550,000 miles (total) and none burn very much oil, and have never had any internal engine problems.

Does a Great Job .. makes so much more sense to use the Mobil 1 filter with the mobil 1 extended oil .

Received filter in two days. When I went to change oil I opened the box only to find a dented filter. Leary of using a damaged filter I went to the parts store and bought a replacement.

Don't want to risk damage to my engine should the dented filter split.
