I have been using this WIX filter in my Corolla for 4 years now with either Pennzoil Premium or Mobil 1 5W-20. To date, I've had no engine problems, and it fits perfectly into the reusable filter cap on the Corolla. I find buying just the element to be a lot more eco friendly and wallet friendly. When I first started buying them, they were about 6 dollars and way cheaper than Fram (and the WIX has a better reputation than FRAM anyhow). Now the local parts store raised the price to $8 so I came on Amazon to compare. Looks like much like everything else, the price is going up in general. At any rate, can't go wrong with this particular filter. Comes with a new O-ring for the reusable filter cap as well.
