I bought some of this oil last summer and for the little bit after that I used my saw it seemed to work fine, though a little "gunky" as others have said. A few months later I needed to use my saw again and found that the chain had rusted to the bar. Bad enough problem, but two phone calls to the company where no one answered but I left messages, and two requests through GET's website have all been ignored. So not only is it a bad product it seems the company will not stand behind it's products or cares a hoot about its customers.

This product gums up the chain really bad. It leaves a residue that builds up over time. Also, in warm temps it is too thin and I empty my oil reservoir twice as fast as with normal chain oil. Last (and worse) it ferments in the oil chamber. When I open up the chamber compressed gas explodes outward and the oil is all foamy! Ridiculous! My oil pumped seized up with this fermented goo and required replacement. The mechanic did his best but could not get all the GUNK out of the oil chamber using every solvent at his disposal. It all added up to a $80 fix....

Wish I had read the other reviews! Used this G-Oil for two Stihl and one Poulan chainsaws. All three chains are gunked up and one Stihl is now at the dealer for repairs. This stuff does not lubricate the chain. It gunks up the lubrication system and starves the chain producing an obnoxious smoke. I thought I was doing the environment a favor.......won't make that mistake again!

Bought this product thinking it would be beneficial and earth friendly. What they dont tell you is that it will rust your chain to the bar. Earth friendly... requiring me to soak my chain in diesel fuel and ATF to get it to free up, and after each use spray with real oil? Horrible product and this company will be recieving some more feedback from me. STAY AWAY.

I love this product. This oil has worked great for me and sticks to the bar better than the Echo oil I used to use. I was trimming next to a drainage ditch and was surprised that I didn't see the "sheen" on the water like I usually did. I thought it might attract bugs since it is bio based, but that never happened. Use this oil and help the planet.
