I own a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid and this 0W-20 synthetic oil is just perfect. Until recently, this price (just under $10 a quart) was the best I could find anywhere. However, the Wal-Mart in my area has started to carry the 5 quart jugs of Mobil 0W-20 for about $23. Obviously, I am going to shop locally now but if you can't get the synthetic oil this is a good option.

Hands down the best oil I have used for 5w-20 or 0w-20 engines. Fuel economy improvement is minimal 1%-2% so don't expect miracles and you won't be disapointed. However the protection is top notch. I change oil at 6 miles or 6 months mainly because it is a new vehicle and I don't want to "push it". Depending on your driving habits you may get much more. Mobil 1 claims it is good for 10,000 mile drain interval and I believe it. The oil is still very clean when I change it at 6 months.

It is a little more than other synthetics but given you only need 2 oil changes a year and extra $10-$20 is negligible compared to total annual operating cost (vehicle, financing, insurance, fuel, registration, repairs, etc).

Only reason I take off one star is Mobil has decided not to sell this product in 5 qt jugs. I find 5 qt jug much more convenient (and cheaper).

On amazon pricing.... What are you thinking Amazon? This can be found for $6-$7 at Walmart. Even local auto parts stores (not known for great values) has it for $7-$8 (or $6 when buying case) per qt. Amazon pricing isn't even in the right ballpark to be competitive. Amazon cut the price to $7 and also sell it by the case (6 qts for $36) and you might get some sales.

I run this for about 10,000 miles before changing and it is cleaner when I change it than conventional oils at 5000 miles. No issues with my vehicles. It saves so much time and effort it is worth the extra cost. I also use high performance filters.

0w-20 isn't easy to come by even where I live. I didn't want to purchase from the dealer because it would be too expensive. This was my first purchase of oil for my car and I am happy with it. Works well, though I wish it were available for purchase in a larger container to keep down a bit on the packaging.

Yes, I give it 5 stars because it works as advertised but YOU DON'T NEED IT. I have a 1965 pontiac GTO 389 4 spd. and a 1977 Ford F-250 2wd with a modified 460 auto. After hearing all of the hype about flat tappet cam failure with SM grade oil I thought I would give zzdp a try. Then I got curious and called a petroleum engineer at Shell. I was informed Rroltella-T has all the ZZDP any car engine needs, that is to say the level is equal to SJ grade oil. It is a diesel oil and the viscosity is 15w-40 yet that's OK for an older vehicle with a high performance flat tappet cam. Quaker State defy has 75% of the ZZDP of Shell's and is a 10w-30 synthetic blend its fine for any engine built after 1995. I also checked with a fleet technician at my employer (Century Link) and was told Motorcraft diesel oil has a disclaimer on the label not to use on vehicles with catalytic converters due to its high ZZDP content. The fleet runs all the diesel engines with that oil and Cummins diesels still use flat tappet cams. The company maintains the fleet meticulously so much so we had Pinto's and Cavaliers go for 20 years and up to 225,000 miles. I am very particular of my 2 classics often getting complemented on their appearance and performance so I would never jeopardize their maintenance. As we have heard so many times before skip the additives and do it right.

No way to know what you are getting in this bottle, actually bought this brand on accident cause they are copying the original brand so much that its even the same colors and look of the bottles in the pictures!!!! Incredible they can get away with this, but it smells the same, looks the same, and I can only hope the stuff works the same as the original maker....

Concentrated. Similar products in larger containers are diluted in oil. Commercial motor oil no longer provides protection for high-pressure components.

I could only find this oil online. Its what type of oil that is recommend for my m3 BMW so I do use it. I know there are other brands available but it was the least expensive I can find & with free shipping I will continue to buy this product. Also it was delivered on time and was packed very well.

If you're looking for the best full synthetic, this is it. This stuff even ate all the dang VARNISH off the inside of my engine components. That's some dang cleaning power! If I had to wager a guess, I'd say that this is likely the most powerful cleansing oil that you can buy. I'd post a pic of the results if I could. I'm a bit of a gearhead so I like to take the best possible care of all my motors. So that they last as long as possible. This stuff ate every bit of sludge out of my engine, with just one oil change. I'm hooked on this for life.

This is one of the few oils out there that is a true PAO base synthetic and if you are reading this review you know Red Line's quality and performance is one fo the best lubricant manufacturers. Red Line has not lowered the important ZDDP anti wear zinc and phosphate levels like retail oils have done to meet new federal standards. This is the only oil I use in my high performance cars for this reason and I will continue to use Red Line and recommend it highly. There are similar versions from Amsoil, Schaeffers, Royal Purple and Joe Gibbs with the increased ZDDP to protect performance built engines but I will continue to run my vehicles on Red Line only!
