Oils made for 1989 and newer Vehicles has reduced zinc in it--this helps prevent "poisoning" your catalytic converter and causing it to fail.

DO NOT USE THIS OR OTHER "SF" GRADE OILS IN THESE NEWER VEHICLES!

Accel SAE 10W-40 SF grade oil has a zinc additive that helps protect older engines, especially air-cooled engines on lawnmowers, motorcycles, garden tractors, etc. This "SF" rated oil has more zinc than the newer oils--this provides extra lubricity for camshafts, etc.

Plus, the price of this oil is much cheaper, especially at Wally World where it's less than $3.00 a quart.

My original factory old dip stick has been served for 13 years. Every time I check the oil level some small plastic pieces would drop. When I got this I compared it with the old one, they are exactly the same length. The only difference is that the oil range of this one is a little little little bit longer than the original one, but just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle bit, less than 1mm, so it's not a big deal. I love this dip stick! Let's see how long it will last.

Great replacement part. Made of quality materials and fit right in. The previous owner of my '01 Jetta had somehow broken the dipstick handle, so replacing it was a must. This product looks just like the original and makes it much easier to check my oil!
