Bought this to speed up the patina process on my Louis Vuitton bag.

Now my straps are a nice light shade of honey!

Used a little on a pair of leather boots that had a scratch on them & it worked as well!

Smells like crud, but it gets the job done!

It softens shoes well, but is only fair at waterproofing. Put it on over a just-died finish and it takes some color with it.

Needed something to restore luster to a mid-80's Ka-Bar leather handle (hilt?), this product worked great. I had been advised to go to a knife repairer/restorer as parts of the handle had turned white/grey. It would have been cheaper to buy a new knife, this eliminated the grey/white areas with two applications spaced 2 days apart. I waited awhile to post the review because I wanted to let time go by to see if the discoloration came back. It has not and it has been about a month.

I use this on the cork disc of my fly fishing reel. It really smooths out the drag performance and prevents the disc from drying out. Good for any high quality reel that used cork as a drag disc.

I really like this product. I used it on my Harley's leather saddlebags to soften the leather. I bought a set good saddlebags very cheaply online and when I got them the leather was hard and the bags un-useable. I read online neatsfoot oil was good for softening leather, they were right. I used this product as instructed and I now have a expensive set of saddlebags I paid almost nothing for. This stuff really works great.

This is a replacement for a stripped oil pan plug. I had an aluminum pan with a stripped hole. The plug was a 12mm x 1.25 pitch taper thread. This is a replacement for that opening and will cut new threads in the hoe with a steeper (1.75) pitch. If you use cutting oil and back out after each half turn to clean out the shavings this will work well. I had good luck with this and at a fraction of the cost of other methods.

I used Mobil 1 10W-30 in my 1994 Ford F-150 six cylinder for 14 years. At 210,000 miles I have never had to replace anything on the engine it's entirely cherry. After the break in period I only changed the oil every 25,000 miles while changing the filter every 5,000 miles. Not only did I get gas mileage so good no one believed me (20 mpg winter, 23 mpg summer)but it didn't cost any more than conventional oils and I never had a problem with my truck. I recently sold my truck to a guy who couldn't wait to get his hands on it and I now run Mobil 1 in my 2008 Ford Ranger 4 cylinder and am getting 40 mpg (OK, 34 mpg with the engine running, 40 mpg by hypermiling).

Good for colder climate areas. You should consider WD-40 if you are high temperature areas as the WD-30 is less viscous.
