After I managed to strip the head of my Accord's drain plug, I bought this since it was billed as an OEM replacement. It fit perfectly. I had the car on the ramps, so I slid under the car after refilling the oil, waiting to see if a a leak, or a seep started. Nothing. The plug fits perfectly. I'd heard good things about Dorman products, and now I can at least vouch for one of them.

I was not impressed with the cheap-o plastic washer they sent with the bolt. Really Dorman? You couldn't spring for the extra 3 cents and provide a metal washer? I reused the metal washer off my old (and now useless) drain plug. I don't want to have to deal with a molten plastic washer, fused to the body of the drain pan, after 5000 miles. Other than that, this is a solid product.

Upon installation of the new Dorman drain plug, I observed an oil leak overnight. I'm sure it's due to the cheap plastic washer. Wish you'd use a better washer. Switching out with a better washer will be a dirty job so I'm disappointed with this product.

My drain plug was rounded off using an impact driver where someone else changed the oil. I needed a new plug and I went to Amazon and it was easy. I entered the make, model and year and got the correct drain plug without leaving home. A real plus was that it came with the gasket that is required and when I need new gaskets I will get them from Amazon. There was once a mechanic may used the wrong tool when they change oil for me.

Next time I change oil at other shop. The other mechanic told me the bolt wore out.

I searched around Amazon and found this stuff. It completely fit my 2005 Honda Pilot and

come with a good price. I am very happy with it.

Ford E250 van w/ 8 bolt wheels ... bolts & lugs rusted solid ... 350lb torque impact wrench wouldn't buge 'em. I used Kroil to remove the upper Oxygen Sensor on the exhaust manifold of my car. These are notorious for being difficult to remove. I put on the Kroil and let it sit for a few minutes and the sensor unscrewed very easily. It practically fell out of the hole. I was impressed.

Note that this can comes with a small plastic spout. You can't see it from the photograph. The spout is snapped in upside down, inside the can for shipping. You pop it out with a Phillips screwdriver and snap it in, cut off the tip, and you're ready to go. It comes with a screw-on cap. This version of Kroil can be legally shipped to California, unlike the aerosol version.

I first learned about this product back in the late 70's when I worked for the Navy. This product was not available to the general public so it wasn't widely known. This stuff is the Bee's Knees! We used it for taking stuff apart that had been exposed to a seawater environment so it was pretty important that it worked as advertised because a lot of the stuff we took apart was very expensive and/or delicate. Compared to other products on the market that make similar claims to their effectiveness, Kroil comes out on top every time. If you are looking for something to get that stubborn, rusted together part to come loose, look no further than Kroil.

My experience level is journeyman machinist, so I know what I'm talking about.

A friend recommended this for cleaning black powder and regular firearms. It is the most awesome stuff for breaking free stuck parts I have ever found. I will never have to ruin a screw head or bust up another part trying to take things apart to clean them properly after one of my competitions where I fire hundreds of rounds. Anyone who has wrestled with a stuck part knows where I'm coming from, especially when that part may cost a bundle to replace.

I am a drag racer from the 1960's and I have always used Valvoline products in my racing engines and in my family vehicles. Full Synthetic was not available then however Valvoline then was ahead of the crowd for lubrication protection, anti-sledge build up and thermal stability.

I started using the Valvoline synthetic when it came out years ago. Although I do not use it in racing engines any longer I do use it in a variety of high performance applications and in my 4 wheel drive.

All of my vehicles have Valvoline full synthetic oil and I can say I have not had any kind of failure, cold start up performance is terrific, I believe the synthetic coats the cylinder walls and does not bleed down like regular oil. I have two vehicles that are dual overhead cam, all aluminum engines that operate a high RPM and I am entirely satisfied with the protection and performance of Valvoline full synthetic.

The Amazon price with supersaver shipping is equal to or beats all of my local retailers even the big one that starts with "W".

I recommend.
