I buy Marvel Air Tool Oil to Use In Gummed Up Air Tools That Are Getting Slow and Weak. It Cleans Them Out Really Well. After Their Clean, I Go Back To Using Other Brands of Air Tool Oil.

I have been using Marvel Air Tool Oil for several years. I always make it a habit to lubricate my air tools often and I have never experienced an air tool failure. This oil works great, comes in a compact size with an easy to use applicator. Normally I buy this at the local Auto Parts, but recently I haven't been able to find it on the shelves. So I turned to Amazon where the price and shipping was excellent for a product I know that works.

I heard very good things about this over at Garageforums so I decided to try it for myself. The oil is very thin but slick. So far, I've been happy with the results but only time will tell if this is really protecting my air tools.

For me this is the best choice of oil filters. Obviously, I change oil myself. So, the fewer times I do, the more time is saved. This extended life filter is good for about 10,000 miles. Along with this filter I use Mobil-1 synthetic oil. It too has longer life.

Far from an expert on car care, I have never had a problem with any of my vehicles owing to engine oil over hundreds of thousands of miles.

There is no one in the professional auto world that trusts Fram!

Fram has a horrific recent history of manufacturing oil filters that fail. Their filters leak and do a poor job at filtering impurities. There are websites devoted to discussing oil and oil filters and Fram products are nearly universally criticized and avoided. There are also videos online that investigate Fram oil filters and they are nearly all universally negative.

Purolator, Wix (NAPA), Mann, Mahle, are some quality filters. Fram are the worst filters and you are risking harming your car.

Search the internet for yourself: Fram is the only oil filter company that has no way to contact them! No phone number or no email address. The other brands I mentioned have a way to reach them. Fram doesn't because doing so the phone line would be jammed with complaints.

Dipstick really does look like the OEM one. Fits firmly and does the job. One think to be cautious about with this product – the flat metal piece has very sharp edges. Since car owner will rarely pull the stick it is not really a concern.

Oh, yes.. it's not the dipstick that fits my Nissan Sentra 2005 1.8s. The width of the rubber stopper is too small to sit firmly on the opening, but i still use. So, my recommendation is to go to the junkyard or stealership and buy the authentic dipstick.
