I've used k&n air filters for years so why not try their oil filters? They work wonderully. I drive a 2000 Honda Prelude SH and the oil filter is located on the back of the engine in such a position that the oil in the filter drips all down the back of the engine block upon removal with normal filters not with the k&n!! Only a few drops now drip down, what a difference.

There are other good filters out there, but in my hard-to-access Nissan Frontier the 1 inch hex nut on K&N filters is the only way to go.

These filters are great! I have read about how much research and development that has gone into them. I have total peace of mind knowing that this baby will remove any nasties that might get into my engine oil. The funny thing is, Ordering this filter and having it shipped from the United States to my home address in Australia is actually cheaper than ordering it from the cheapest store here 5 minutes drive down the road, (currently Autobarn). I save about $2, and all the fuss of going out of my way to get it :)

Always happy to buy a K&N oil filter every 10,000kms.

My Acura TL's OEM oil filters were a PITA to remove with conventional oil filter wrenches. Spent a bit extra for the K&N and with a 1" socket (or adj wrench) can easily crack them loose.
