Hey.. well its synthetic oil... and its VW specd. As long as you keep up the maintenance on your vehicles and do proper oil changes with the correct fluids then , most of the time, your fine. Can't tell if this better or worse than Mobil 1, and I'm not going to spend money to do an oil analysis for my aging, but well taken care of car.

This is the cheapest I can find this type of oil for my girlfriend's '10 Jetta. Not sure why it needs this expensive type but was told to not deviate from what the manufacturer calls for. But you can't beat oil and filter showing up at your house!
