I buy only Purolator filters. I use it on my gen 2 prius and i have the oil tested by Blackstone periodically. I can go 10K miles on this filter and still have quality clean oil. The texture on the filter helps for removal and installation. The folks at Purolator are very helpful as well. I had to all on another car and had a fitment question and they were as friendly as can be.

i use this brand of filter for most of the cars. i just love how they have a sandy finish outside so you can get a good grip when you're trying to screw it on or take it off.
