I bought these for our 2 Civics and CR-V. No problems. They work as they should. To the guy who bashes this product along with Honda's "dumb ideas", easy fix. Don't buy Honda if they p!$$ you off so. I put up with years of crappy domestic vehicles til I saw the light. And I'm not turning back.

I bought a brand new "DOMESTIC" 2013 Honda Accord Sport, which was built and manafactured in Marysville, Ohio USA. I change the oil and filter in my rigs every 2,000 miles. You want to change your oil BEFORE IT GETS DIRTY. Gas and time to drive to dealer costs more than $20, hence I bot a bag of 50 Honda crush washers here on Amazon. SAVE YOUR MONEY. THERE IS NO CRUSH IN THESE CRUSH WASHERS. When I took the OEM (original equipment manafacture) crush washer off the drain plug at the first oil change I measured the thickness of the washer with a micrometer. It measured 0.085 thousanths of inch. Guess what the new crush washers in this bag of 50 measure ? Yes, you guessed it. They measured 0.085 thousanths of inch too. THERE IS NO CRUSHING OF THE WASHER. And the oil drain plug from the factory was on so tight that I had to use a torque wrench to get it off. So if the OEM crush washer on the drain plug was NOT COMPRESSED BY THE GUERILLAS at the factory, then believe me you do not want to tighten it more and strip the oil pan threads. It's a lightweight aluminum washer. Maybe replace it every 5 or 6 oil changes in case they have a tendency to split, but I have not found that to be a problem yet. I've done over 130 oil changes on my 1988 Ford F-150 and still use the same original factory red fiber washer on the drain plug with no dripping. I've done over 60 oil changes on my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 and still use the same original factory rubber o-ring on the drain plug with no dripping. Go figure. Another stupid Honda idea if you ask me. Good luck. Ps. Aluminum threads are easy to stretch and strip, so forget about tightening the oil drain plug with a torque wrench. Instead, use a small 3/8" ratchet and socket or a short length 6 sided box end wrench and just tighten your drain plug until it's snug using one hand without a lot of leverage otherwise stripped threads. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
