I am still nursing along a 1992 Dodge Mini Van AWD. It used to clatter like an old typewriter at start up and then settle down after warm up. First time Maxlife was put in, the engine started and ran without a rattle!

Been using Maxlife now for the past 3 years and my OBV (old blue van) is still running like a clock but without all the clicking and clacking.

I am going to have them put in VAlvolines new ATF 3-4 transmission fluid too...as everyone says the dodge a/t's are also problem childs.

This cast aluminum filter cover wrench fits the cover used on BMW N54 & N55 engines. It's a quality die casting and well finished so should last forever. A much better tool then the cheap plastic or stamped sheet metal wrenches found at discount auto stores. As a bonus, it has a beautiful, bell-like tone if you tap it gently. Exactly as advertised! Amazing how much easier a job is with the right tool. Changing oil on a 2002 Volvo S40 was made much easier with the proper oil filter wrench to remove the oil filter. Where previous oil change jobs resulted in no filter change, this took a matter of minutes to remove.

For the price, you won't find a better tool for the job. This grips the cap in BMW N54 & N52 engines, like My 2007 525 xi, easily. 21mm attachment is needed to use the tool, and that isn't in every 'mechanics toolset' -so you may need to get one of those on Amazon too. Made of metal, so won't break or crack like cheap plastic ones.

I used to remove and attach the oil filter housing by hand. This wrench made it so much easier to do the job. Only two issues with the wrench. First, it can get stuck onto the oil filter housing after tightening. After a few whacks, I was able to slide it off. Second, this wrench needs a 21mm socket to use. My socket set only goes up to 20mm and had to get one. Not a big issue, but would have been nice to include in the item description.
