I am still nursing along a 1992 Dodge Mini Van AWD. It used to clatter like an old typewriter at start up and then settle down after warm up. First time Maxlife was put in, the engine started and ran without a rattle!
Been using Maxlife now for the past 3 years and my OBV (old blue van) is still running like a clock but without all the clicking and clacking.
I am going to have them put in VAlvolines new ATF 3-4 transmission fluid too...as everyone says the dodge a/t's are also problem childs. The;Valvoline Maxlife synthetic Motor oil, frome Amazon ,that I use in my car is vary good..Amazon thes product you should keep on your shelfs ..Aaron Van Crawford..

K&N PS-7022 Oil Filter Reviews
Customer Ratings:

I purchased this oil filter because I have generally been very happy with other K&N products and it was priced competitively. I haven't noticed any difference in performance or the clarity/color of used oil when compared to the equivalent Mann or Purolator One filters. However, it feels very solidly built.
This filter is a perfect replacement for Hyundai Sonata 2006 3.3 V6. It should also fit Sonatas years 2006 through 2010 if you have the 3.3 V6 engine.
Just remove the plastic engine cover with a socket set then looking at the engine on the right side there is a plastic cap on the top of the engine remove that and the filter is inside. You will need a tool to remove the cap as you cannot do it with your hands.
Took me several hours until I got the right oil filter removal tool but once I got the right tool it took 5 minutes!
K&N makes a great product.

To replace the filter you really need the friction filter removal tools that look like a steel band going to a handle. I tried replacing the filter using a wrench some crappy tool from walmartetc. But could not get the cover off getting the right tool helped a lot.Just remove the plastic engine cover with a socket set then looking at the engine on the right side there is a plastic cap on the top of the engine remove that and the filter is inside. This arrived sooner than I expected, GREAT! It appears to be better constructed than the OEM filter. K&N is known for their quality products. This appears to be another winner. I recommend it.Honest reviews on K&N PS-7022 Oil Filter
Run this filter at 10K mile oil changes in wife's 2007 sonanta. No issues, works great. Car is over 200K miles with zero problems.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for K&N PS-7022 Oil Filter
Fit was great, some shops list a long and a short cartridge filter, my 2008 Veracruz takes the long one which this is. I've never heard of anybody using the short one, but there you go.K&N makes a great product.

Both my wife's 2006 Rav4 and my 2009 Yaris use the 1003 oil filter. I made the switch to synthetic oil about 4 years ago and have saved a ton of money. I used to get oil changes every 3K miles. I also used get my oil changes at Wallymart but their totally incompetent workers finally convinced me that a blind monkey could do a better job!
Anyway...this is a great filter. As you probably have read from the other reviews, the nut that is welded on the top (or bottom) of the filter makes it so easy to remove when you do your oil changes.
I am of the mind that you can go 10 12K on synthetic oil with one of these filters. The extended oil drain theory works and saves you a lot of money. I hear some people change out the oil filter every 6K, but when you pay $10 for a filter....that gets a little expensive.
I usually buy my oil at Wallymart or Advance Auto. AA has some good deals....sometime when they run out of the free filters they give you when you buy 5 qts. of oil, they will substitute a K&N filter. So its a really good deal then!
So use the product with confidence! Especially if you do the work yourself.

The ability to snag the end of the oil filter with my socket is priceless. Use these on all four of our cars and cuts down oil change times by quite a bit. Any Honda owner knows they hide the filter to make sure you donate blood while attempting to remove it. With the piece on the end, just ratchet it off! Never a leak. Always runs for a full year, usually 6-8000 miles before change out. Combine it with superior synthetic oil, no problems. I usually order 4-5 at a time as price does go up and down.Best Deals for K&N HP-1003 High Performance Oil Filter
They don't really get better than this, honestly. Don't take my word for it, do a quick YouTube search and you'll find videos of filter dissections that reveal the build quality and what's inside. What sets this one apart from the rest is the ability to remove with a standard 1 inch drive. I've got a killer grip, but why curse and fight with something when you don't have to? Totally worth the price and piece of mind. I run this on my Scion Xb with Mobil 1 full synthetic high mileage.Honest reviews on K&N HP-1003 High Performance Oil Filter
One of the reasons I use K&N is the bolt on the end of the filter....both of my vehicles have the filter located in an out of the way place....what cars don't today? The 1 " bolt head makes it much easier to take off the old filter....and according to tests, the filter is among the top in filtering capacity. I change oil at about 3-4K mile intervals and also use synthetic oil....cheap insurance IMHO !Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for K&N HP-1003 High Performance Oil Filter
I have been using these filters since 2006 on my Scion tC. They preform great and are super easy to replace because of the nut welded on the end of it.Friday, May 2, 2014
Review of Pennzoil 550022829-6PK 10W-40 High Mileage Vehicle Motor Oil - 1
I needed some oil for my 1993 camry and this fit the bill. I wasn't looking for anything outrageous. Just something that was reliable and would keep my engine healthy. Pennzoil for the win!

What can I say about motor oil. It is what I ordered and what I needed for my truck. Good.Honest reviews on Pennzoil 550022829-6PK 10W-40 High Mileage Vehicle Motor Oil - 1
It is a bit early to review an oil that is designed for long term driving. With that being said, I will do the best I can and do an update accordingly. My truck runs a lot smoother. However, I changed the oil, changed the filters, and changed the spark plugs. Overall, my truck is running a lot smoother and does not seem to "struggle", like it was prior to these changes.Sunday, December 22, 2013

I spent a dozen years fighting wildfire and when it came time to do some serious clearing of my private land, I figured I'd grab one of these tried and true cans. Problem: Between my last fire and today, some idiot bureaucrat mandated that we have "low emission" gas cans. The child proof ratchet is just stupid; the clearances are poorly executed and it is difficult for an adult to manipulate. Out comes the pocket knife; off goes that bit of stupidity. But it gets worse--the "spillproof" nozzle is chock full of crevices and moving parts--hit this thing with a blast of chips from your saw, or dust from a passing truck, and you'll wind up sloshing gas out of your can to try and get the crap out of the crevices before you reverse it an immerse it in your fuel or oil. S-T-U-P-I-D comes to mind. And the "dust caps" have no flange on them, so they sit loosely on top of the nozzle when reversed--as if this thing is going to sit on a shelf and never be bumped, jostled, moved, carried, or tossed out of a helicopter (don't ask). In short, this "carb compliant" can creates far more problems than any leaky saw gas can ever created, and the doofus who designed it should be the designated catcher for the next tree I fall....

My wife bought this gas can for me as a birthday present. I'm not sure what the designers were thinking when this came off the drawing board, but do not waste your money on this piece of junk. The pour spout jams. The screw on spouts leak. The spring loaded cut off is almost impossible to manipulate. The chain oil compartment takes forever to let the chain oil pass through. I worked for about 2 hours to try to figure out what I was doing wrong, when I realized its' not me. One of the most poorly designed gas cans in existence. Keep your old gas can, and steer clear of this mess.Best Deals for Briggs & Stratton 85310 2-Compartment 1-1/2 Gallon Gas and 2-1/2
The spouts are very difficult to use. This item was purchased for use with a chainsaw, and the bar oil takes forever to run out the tip of the spout and is VERY messy and awkward. It takes two hands to operate and is near impossible to keep neat and clean.Honest reviews on Briggs & Stratton 85310 2-Compartment 1-1/2 Gallon Gas and 2-1/2
I was a fool to purchase this, i figured Gas in one side bar oil in the other, simple right? WRONG! The C.A.R.B. idiots figured a way to make this thing even more frustrating by using the same nozzles for both fluids! The bar oil takes forever to dispense. plus you can't put the nozzles back in for safe keeping leaving the nozzles to just collect dirt that you will pour RIGHT INTO YOUR SAW. Im going to try and get my money back.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Briggs & Stratton 85310 2-Compartment 1-1/2 Gallon Gas and 2-1/2
Fabulous idea but terrible at the same time. First of all the 2 "halves" should be able to separate. I'm thinking 2 separate containers that can be clipped together for transport. Once at the location where you are working you can then separate them to make it easier to actually use. Which brings me to these spouts. I just spent the second weekend in a row with a bunch cutting new access trails though the woods. Each guy had a different set of cans to hold oil, gas mix, and a larger can for just gas. I'd say out of a dozen, maybe 4 didn't have all the new "safety" features by-passed in one way or another. And every single can even with the safety features bypassed or not leaked almost without exception. The worst offenders were these spouts with the green turn ring and push to dispense. I don't know who designed these devices or who makes them but I will never use or own another. Mine went right into the dumpster this morning and I'm running far away from anything EPA approved or has child resistant features. Its time the government stops budding into things they know nothing about, have false data on, or is supported by the liberal party. Its time to take back our personal rights... DO NOT BUY until they replace the spout with something sensible.
