Every 5,000 miles, a Mann filter goes in my MINI They're OEM-quality, a fantastic price, and show up in 2 days with Amazon Prime. Other major brands of filter for the MINI are known to include an O-ring of the wrong size, besides having worse filtration properties. This is the only filter to buy for an R50/R53.

It does not fit 2007 r56 Base Mini Cooper. I ordered and brought it to the shop but then have to paid for one that fit from the shop.

I ordered this item because it said it would fit a 2008 Mini, it does not. It is too long as well as too big in girth. I ended up buying a Fram filter to replace it because we had already started changing the oil when we realized the filter was too big. Just did some research on the Mann filter and it appears the HU 711/51 X is the one to buy (according to the Mann website), I just ordered one for when I change my oil again and I hope that one is the right way to go.

Fit just as good as the OEM filter on my 2006 Cooper S. For the price, it is hard to go wrong... Been using Mann filters on various vehicles for many years. Very good quality filters across the boardnot cheap knockoff stuff here!

I purchased this oil filter because I have generally been very happy with other K&N products and it was priced competitively. I haven't noticed any difference in performance or the clarity/color of used oil when compared to the equivalent Mann or Purolator One filters. However, it feels very solidly built.

This filter is a perfect replacement for Hyundai Sonata 2006 3.3 V6. It should also fit Sonatas years 2006 through 2010 if you have the 3.3 V6 engine.

To replace the filter you really need the friction filter removal tools that look like a steel band going to a handle. I tried replacing the filter using a wrench some crappy tool from walmartetc. But could not get the cover off getting the right tool helped a lot.

Just remove the plastic engine cover with a socket set then looking at the engine on the right side there is a plastic cap on the top of the engine remove that and the filter is inside. You will need a tool to remove the cap as you cannot do it with your hands.

Took me several hours until I got the right oil filter removal tool but once I got the right tool it took 5 minutes!

Fit was great, some shops list a long and a short cartridge filter, my 2008 Veracruz takes the long one which this is. I've never heard of anybody using the short one, but there you go.

As other people have noted already, the MANN Filter is an OEM part. The Audi filter I replaced had the same imprint and looked identical.

I have used Mann filters for years and never had an issue with them.

Highly recommend to spend a few bucks extra to get the Mann filter over a cheap aftermarket product.

I use this filter in my 2008 VW Passat with the 2.0 turbo engine. The VW "OEM" filter seems to be made by Mann because it has the same marks printed on on the end. I have always used Mann filters (oil, engine air, cabin air) on my European cars because I'm sure I'm right on top of OEM quality.

This is the OEM part for some of the VW canister filter replacement elements. Works great, cheaper than the dealer. The difference between the dealer and these are that the dealer's have "made in germany" stamped on them, these are "made in mexico". I can't tell the different and save $8 dollars.

I tend to keep cars for a long time so maintenance is important to me. My Audi came from the factory with Castrol 5W-40 Synthetic oil and a mann filter installed. While I think there are some decent filter makers out there, Mann is German. My Audi is German. QED...

The kit includes the filter and the all-important rubber gasket (complete with a little tab so you can pull it out of the filter holder). You will need a few tools to change your oil since the filters are in a plastic canister that needs a 36MM socket to unscrew safely. Plus, the canister is full of dirty oil so you need a hard to find $50 drain tool. And you need a torque wrench to put the canister back on to the 25.5 Newton Meters torque specified by Audi. But once you have all that, the filter fits perfectly and does what a filter does!

Good luck... And make sure to wear gloves dirty oil is a health hazard.

The tube I received is green, which is the same thing I've been getting from NAPA. So far, I have tried 4 different brands of grease for my John Deere 110 TLB and this is by far my favorite. The other brands are thinner, and when I pull the hose off the zerk, they "splooge" all over, or drool. The Lucas X-Tra Heavy Duty Grease is a little tackier, and stays on the zerk, and stays in the nozzle of the hose without drooling on everything. I may still try other brands, just for fun, but this is the standard by which all the others have to compete against. Great Stuff!

I used this oil for two oil changes covering 5K miles each in my Ford Fusion, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. I noticed no difference in MPG or vehicle operation compared to the name brand oils I typically use. I believe this oil is made by Warren Oil which is a very large oil refiner / marketer in the U.S. with a great reputation for quality lubricants. Re-refined oil is a terrific advancement in oil refining technology, and I wish more oil companies would take advantage of it. There is literally no downside for the consumer. The oil performs as good if not better than traditional motor oil, it helps reduce our dependence on foreign oil, saves energy (vs. refining crude oil), and lessens environmental impact. I'm not a tree hugger, but I love it when I can help my country and my planet without paying more or sacrificing performance.

I purchased a used atv last summer (02 zuki 400) and i went broke in the process so could not afford change the oil right away. i took a few gentle rides on it and over that period i noticed lots of extra noise coming from the engine. the guy i got it from said it was ran on amsoil since he bought it in '05 so i figured it was the sound of "normal wear" since it was a used 2002 atv. A month later i ordered this oil and a filter from amazon. that is the day i learned it is better to have cheap oil and change it frequently than to put expensive oil in and let it go for 2 years. this thing acts like a newborn atv again quiet as can be (case noise) and even seems to have more power, im not sure if that is due to the clutch additivess or less internal engine friction or (most likey)> a combo of the 2 but i like this oil and currently own 2 cases of it. i change my oil bi-monthly and will continue to do so with valvoline atv oil.
