I have been using Royal Purple off and on since the 90's and it is some of the best oil I have ever used. BMW recommends a 20w50 for my 04 R1150RT motorcycle. Since synthetic is getting harder to find, I have been using this for the last 3 oil changes and the engine is running noticeble quieter. Expensive but great oil.

I have used Valvoline's Max life in my 30 year old pickup truck for years now, I was impressed after the second oil change a few years back when my old cork gaskets seemed to expand back to their original sealing ability and my "oil leaking" decreased by a noticeable amount. The price for this "six pack" was superb compared to purchasing locally, especially when coupled with the "Free Shipping" option.

This stuff just came out and was a cheaper alternative to G-Oil. I picked it up locally for $2.99 a quart on sale at O'Reilly the first time, then through Amazon for $3.80ish a quart with subscribe and save. I used it in my sister's 2008 Honda Civic EX 5,000 oil change intervals. Works the same as regular oil, looks the same coming out., reduces dependence on foreign oil, sounds good enough for me to buy it. Oil analysis looked great also.

I've used Valvoline for over 30 years, and have never had an engine failure with Valvoline in the engine. I like the idea of recycling in a positive way. I've talked to Valvoline engineers at trade shows. I'm not a chemical or petroleum engineer, but information I get from the Valvoline people documents a deliberate, intensive process to distil, clean, and revitalize the oil to where it's better than new. When I change the oil, it comes out looking much cleaner than that of friends using other oils. I feel I'm saving money, and yet treating my engines better than with alternative brands. I highly recommend this oil, and use it in my kids cars too.

it's oil can't really say much...

car motor oil rating

but when you do purchase oil at a local home store ..

make sure the rating is higher level ..

the rating system for oil goes by *API ABC rating or normally with only two letters.. * American Petroleum Industry*

last time i purchased oil at a store it was SJ so make sure it is higher than that..

so make sure you get a higher letter.. but always make sure you look what it declared the highest rating..

it does change quite often

What a heavy duty claw this is. Well made and useful for removing a large or small filter. Probably can be used for plumming as well as it can hold pipes. Worth every penny.

Well made and a good option for older and larger filters but it is just to large for the smaller filters used on most newer cars now.

I bought these to get to an oil filter off a diesel truck....they were very low cost, but you get what you pay for. Decent for the price, but if you need an every day use tool, this one isn't for you.

Polaris recomends a 5w-50 blend oil in all there ATVS and this is the only oil to use. I love Polaris but there oil is at a rediculous price

Pictured is Euro bottled M1 5W50 which is not the same as the US bottled M1 5W50 (which is what's being sold here on amazon). When I placed my order I thought M1 released a new formula, but you'll just get US 5W50 in the regular bottle w/ RED-printing. The reason for this review is because EURO 5W50 is a true synthetic with Group IV or better base stock, while US 5W50 can get away with Group III base stock and still call itself synthetic.

You can't beat the price for six quarts of oil from Mobil 1. This was cheaper them Motorcraft oil and just as good or better. If it's good enough for NASCAR it's good enough for me

Replaces the factory gear oil for the differential that comes with the suspension package on the 2006 Mazda MX-5.

I could swear that this bottle contains pure sweet cream butter because it's a major difference between this and the standard "maintenence free" gear oil I used to have in my diff. My differential chatters less and (now I may be hallucinating) but I think the car even feels more agile! This stuff is heaven sent.

I have used this oil in numerous gear boxes requiring a 75W-90 gear oil and found it works very well. It seems to rate very high in all reviews I have read. I can't say it is the best, because I have not tried or compared many other oils, but in my opinion I believe it is one of the better oils and you won't go wrong using it.

Got this from online store since it's cheaper than at my local auto parts store. Purchased it to change the differential fluid in my Mercedes SLK 230. Glad I've changed the fluid after 120,000 miles. The original one was of a dark dark color and with an awful smell. I needed just a little more than in one bottle so had some leftover left. Very satisfied with the transaction!

These filters are worth the money. I see a big difference when using these verses cheaper filters. The length of time before the oil gets really dirty is noticeably longer. Granted each vehicle is a little bit different in how quickly the oil gets dirty the filter is what makes or breaks everything. If you are going to run long interval oil changes on synthetic oil then you have to have a good filter or you are just going to plug up the cheap one and it will be on bypass. These are a high quality filter with a larger capacity.
