Looks like oil, feels like oil, smells like oil. Passes the same testing standards as 100% virgin oil but with 50% recycled content. Seems like a win on all fronts.

This stuff just came out and was a cheaper alternative to G-Oil. I picked it up locally for $2.99 a quart on sale at O'Reilly the first time, then through Amazon for $3.80ish a quart with subscribe and save. I used it in my sister's 2008 Honda Civic EX 5,000 oil change intervals. Works the same as regular oil, looks the same coming out., reduces dependence on foreign oil, sounds good enough for me to buy it. Oil analysis looked great also.

I've used Valvoline products for years and started using this stuff when it first came out in my 1996 Oldsmobile which at the time had 215,000 miles on the original 3.1 v6 engine, now I do a lot (and I mean a lot) of traveling for work and the car now has 325,000 miles on it and the engine is still going strong. That's 110,000 miles on Valvoline next gen in an already pretty tired engine with out any issues, i'd say it passes in my book.

Valvoline White Bottle = Valvoline Green Bottle

Any oil that is API certified is good, this one has additives similar to Castrol GTX (on a side note Castrol is also used oil) in that it has a large dose of sodium specializing in anti corrosion. VGB and VWB are ment to be identical, however used oil makes for a better starting product than crude oil so Valvoline Green Bottle (VGB) is even or better. If you like VWB don't hesitate to use VGB in it's place.

due to the total incompetence at local oil change places, i decided to start doing my own oil changes. i drive a 2010 chevrolet hhr, 2.2L with 81,000 miles.

I do alot of highway driving so i change my oil around 5,000 to 5,500 miles give or take a few.

saw this on sale and gave it a shot. looked JUST Like the conventional Vavoline that i always used.

ive had in in for about 5,000 miles or so, and it peforms great. hey, if this can reduce or dependency on foreign sources of oil, and is cheaper, i'm all for it. plus its good for the enviornment.

i will update this later. seems to be a great product!

**update 10/4/13**

just the other day changed the oil in my vehicle, this oil came out the same color and consistency as previous oil changes (with conventional non-recycled oil).

i feel this is a good alternative. changing oil around 5,000 miles is always a good thing. hopefully my engine will give me 250K miles.. (or at least i can hope).
