Shipping to HI is ridiculous but for the quality of this oil, it's worth it. I've been using this oil for about ten years with no fouled plugs.

You wouldn't feed your baby poop so don't give you outboard cheap (poop) oil. Run what the manufacture recommends and your outboard will treat you with reliable performance.

XD30 has been superceeded by the far superior XD50 and XD100

XD50 has a carbon guard additive. That additive reduces long-term carbon accumlation around the ringsets and the piston skirts. It's an especially helpful additive on these V4 and V6 crossflow engines.

XD-30 Conventional oil = Minimal protection

XD-50 Semi Synthetic = much less smell than XD-30 and has carbon guard additive

XD-100 Full Synthetic = even less smell and contains carbon guard, produces minimal smoke and full synthetic extends service life of engine.
