I use this oil in my 1990 Geo Metro. The car has used this same oil brand and grade ever since it was first broken in. I also use an Amsoil add on bypass oil filter to take out the tiny particles from the oil; which ordinary filters do not catch. The result is that, with more than 300,000 miles on the original engine, it still does not show signs of wear. And the extra wide 5W-50 viscosity range does not degrade as the miles accumulate. I am totally impressed with the performance of this oil.

I have been using this in all my cars and trucks for many years. I live where it gets very cold and also travel to Phoenix, AZ where it gets very hot (over 110 F) so I like the broader range of viscosity 5W-50. The other brands don't even make this viscosity! Not even the ultra expensive Amsoil or Royal Purple make this! Great product!

I was looking for a synthetic motor oil with added zinc for my classic 1956 Mercedes 190SL. Consider that this oil is significant thinner than your usual W30. Check all your seals. However, I can highly recommend this for your classic car. Merchant had a competitive price and shipped on time.
