Reviews of Heavy-Duty Motor Oil

Customer Ratings:

This is a good quality oil for small engines like push mowers and single cylinder engines. I bought this case of oil to service my lawn equipment. Was cheaper then what the local store had. I do not recommend this thick of an oil (30HD) in motorcycles, car or truck engines unless the manufacturer says its ok. When this case runs out I would consider purchasing another from the same vendor.

Since I am not a scientist I cannot comment on how well this oil lubricates a motorcycle engine. I can say that the manufacturer of my 150cc scooter recommends 20W-40 4-stroke oil in their products and that weight oil is almost impossible to find. Amazon.com comes through again!

Looked for alternative for my Victory Cross Country. Seems to work great, engine and clutch running smoother and quieter. Have always liked Castrol. Would recommend.

This oil is awful for any victory motorcycle. I didn't even put on 100 miles before I changed it. Made my bike run like complete crap. Stick with the victory motorcycle oil. Never cheapen up on the life blood of your bike.

hard to find viscosity. castrol is a premium brand. No one knows who makes victory oil. it meets the same specs as victory oil. i use it in my 2008 vision. You can spend twice as much at the Victory stealership if you want to. I don't.

And of course, Amazon is hard to beat.

Purchased this to replace the twenty year old cap on my son's 93 Mustang. It was a perfect match and it came in Ford Motor Company Package. Very pleased with the purchase and delivery.

10 years old, 1/4 million miles. Wash engine every couple years, whether it need it or not. It was time to start doing more than washing it more often. Genuine part, same as new. One 'leak' fixed!
