This is a good quality oil for small engines like push mowers and single cylinder engines. I bought this case of oil to service my lawn equipment. Was cheaper then what the local store had. I do not recommend this thick of an oil (30HD) in motorcycles, car or truck engines unless the manufacturer says its ok. When this case runs out I would consider purchasing another from the same vendor.

Learn by my mistakeS. Yes, multiple. I bought 3 different oil filter wrenches for my Tundra. All made me frustrated by slipping around the plastic filter housing. Had to use masking tape to tighten the gaps, rubber tape, and a few bad words.

This filter is solid, won't flex when turning, and grips the tabs on filter with sturdy notches. Bad enough I need to remove and replace a skid plate everytime I change my oil too.

This will make changing my oil much easier. It is a perfect fit on the flats of the filter housing, but the teeth also grab the wings nicely.

Never mention that it will match any Toyota 6 / 8 Cylinder Wrench. This does not match to all vehicles. Take care in adding more description to this product to which vehicle it matches. That will avoid the buyer to run into trouble and makes amazon a better shopping place.

I got Toyota Camry 1997 V6 Engine. I'm the first time buyer of the wrench of my filter. I did find that it did not fit to my vehicle eventhough the title says it is for V6 engine.

I would not recommend this product to any buyer unless it is amended with the correct product description.

I bought this to make oil changes on my 2007 Lexus RX350. The inside top of this tool engages the flats on the oil filter housing. The slots on the bottom of this tool engage the housing's wings. Together, even the tightest housing is going to yield to whatever force you apply. I used a 3/8" square drive. The distance across the hex flats measured 1.052" so a 27mm or 1-1/16" socket could be used instead. My filter housing got jammed to the inside of this tool when I unscrewed it from the engine; a couple of light taps knocked it free. That's a tolerance issue either with this tool or the filter housing or both, I'm not sure. It's not a big deal and this tool certainly works, but handling the housing is a messy enough job as it is, so 4 stars.

Bought this to replace a factory type wrench that did not fit a driver. This one is much better as it can be used with a 3/8 driver.

I keep a second one of these on the shelf with a new filter so I can more quickly change the oil. The one that comes off the car is understandably a mess, with old oil in and around the housing, and two o-rings to have to remove. I go back and clean it later, and can immediately install the fresh filter and clean housing with new O-rings.

This is the exact filter dealer change on my 2007 V6 lexus RX350.

But, I don't understand when I put my model on the matching model system, it kicked me out of the match.

I went back to check the invoice when I brought my car back to Lexus dealship for service. This part number match exactly. I re-type part number here 04152-YZZA1 so you can be sure it fits your lexus.

It looks like AMAZON needs to do more reserch for this part so they can sale more...

Disclaimer: No...I am not a professional mechanic or a Toyota sales/service rep. However, I am a discriminating consumer who recently purchased a '12 RAV4 V6 and love it. Understandably then, I was particular when it came to searching for a premium-quality oil filter for my spunky little jack rabbit RAV.

PROS:

1. A genuine OEM oil filter manufactured specifically to match the performance specs and tolerances for specificToyota vehicles.

2. This type of design permits you to inspect the spent/used filter media to assess the overall performance of the filter-A real plus in my opinion compared to sealed, traditional screw-on cartridges.

3. Both filter o-rings are supplied prelubricated making for a more convenient installation job.

4. The yellow filter media provides an excellent contrast to identify the contaminants captured and filtered, providing a good performance-barometer.

5. At $6.47, with free S/H, this deal is hard to beat.

6. Installation directions are clear, in English and conspicuously appear on both the filter box side panel and end flaps.

CONS:

1. A bit messy and more time-intensive for DIY's who prefer a more conventional cartridge-type canister that simply screws into the engine flange. Remember, there are no cartridge-type screw-in oil filters available for vehicles requiring this type of oil filter, like most RAV-4's.

BOTTOM LINE:

1. Nearly 99% of automotive oil filter manufacturers (regardless of brand/make), achieve differences in the thickness of their filter media within a parameter of only 1-2 microns. This means that unless you intend to race professionally or consistently haul/tow vehicles or heavy payloads, the differences are marginal at best and negligible for most of us who simply drive 12-15K/year. Therefore, there is no need to consider a more expensive oil filter promising only questionable and exaggerated claims.

2. Purchase the least-expensive OEM oil filter for your specific vehicle and be assured that you are complying with your vehicle manufacturer's recommendations for properly servicing your vehicle. The added benefit of this is that you are also insuring that you will not compromise the warranty on your vehicle should any major repairs be necessary by using aftermarket filters/parts that may have slightly different fitment tolerances with your engine block. Keep all of your service receipts as proof that you purchased OEM Toyota parts. Now....Don't worry and enjoy your vehicle!

3. Change your oil regularly. This is the life-blood of your vehicle. Change at 3K for your initial oil change and then at 3-5K intervals based upon your vehicle manufacturer's recommendations!

For the price and simplicity, this filter is the ONLY one I use for our 08 Highlander Base. Normally OEM means high priced, but this filter is a no brainer compared to competition and it does its job well.

This is the correct oil filter for my 2007 Rav4 V6. I usually get them at my dealership 3 at a time where the price is usually the same as my purchase price on here except on here, there is no sales tax or a trip to dealership. I usually go to Monroe Muffler with my Toyota oil filter, synthetic oil and get the oil change done for next to nothing in price. I use to change my own oil but Monroe does it cheaper for me than if I did it.

It's the real deal, Genuine Toyota, used it in my 08' Sienna along with an Assenmacher TOY640 Tool. Once you figure this out it's one of the easiest oil changes you'll do. Includes the tube. You pop the bottom of the filter holder off, pop the tube in (give it a firm push), oil drains out of the filter... put the cap back on and then use the tool to remove the filter housing. Comes with all new o-rings. The Toyota Filter has a lot more filter area than the 3rd party filters out there, it's practically just filter, nothing else...
