Reviews of Heavy-Duty Motor Oil
This is a good quality oil for small engines like push mowers and single cylinder engines. I bought this case of oil to service my lawn equipment. Was cheaper then what the local store had. I do not recommend this thick of an oil (30HD) in motorcycles, car or truck engines unless the manufacturer says its ok. When this case runs out I would consider purchasing another from the same vendor.

Brad Penn Penn Grade 1 10W30 Partial Synthetic Racing Oil Review
I was doing a lot of Internet research to find the best oil for my 40 year old, never been rebuilt, stock engine.
Prior to using this oil, my motor developed a ticking. Possibly due to a weak flat tappet lifter. Anyway, I visited the brad penn site and also read the helpful customer review here on Amazon and told myself if this stuff helps racing engines survive their harsh lives, this stuff should work for my stock engine.
And it has. The noticeable ticking has dissipated. Now I'm not saying this stuff will cure your motor from its ailments but if you want a better oil that will help to maintain and protect a fairly healthy engine then this is the right stuff. It also doesn't burn as quick or burn at all like other store bought motor oils.........Race engines are not! We have been running Brad Penn Grade 1 10w-30 in our flat tappet race engines for many years with no additives and it performs very well! Highly recommended
