Our Sea-Doos are 11 years old and it pays to use the right oil. I have to say that in the beginning we were using regular crude oil but after a revelation of reading the manual, we switched to the synthetic. Our repairs since have been minimal.

Thank you for this opportunity to express ourselves.

Green Earth Technologies 01107 G Oil 2-Cycle Engine Oil 2.6 oz. We used this on our sons Kawasaki KX85 2 stroke dirt bike. There was some smoke on cold start but once warmed up it was GONE ! It smoked a ton before we made the switch to G Oil. 5 Stars + Why wouldn't you use something as great as this ? What are your alternatives ? Old School smokey 2 stroke Oil ? Go green !

Well, it's another win for Green Earth. I have tried all their products and none has let me down. The worse product I tried still at least equal to a good brand name product.

Best Deals for Green Earth Technologies 01107 G Oil 2-Stroke Engine Oil 2.6 oz

At first I was a little skeptical, so I bought a bottle to try on my Husky WR250 2-cycle dirt bike. The results were amazing. I have virtual no smoke (I guess what I saw was residuo from the previous mix, we'll see). The bike seems to run very smooth, no hicups, easy iddleling! Great product indeed. I'll now try the other products for washing and cleaning the bike and cars. I'm impressed!! The price her on Amazon is also cheaper than Target and WalMart!

Honest reviews on Green Earth Technologies 01107 G Oil 2-Stroke Engine Oil 2.6 oz

I bought this because I wanted to try out some different oils and I was intrigued by the "green" concept. I first tried this oil in October, and it seemed to work fine -I didn't notice anything particularly better than any other oil I had used, but it was certainly no worse.

However, I had measured this into other (smaller) bottles, and I only used one when it was warm. The other three bottles sat in my car, which, unsurprisingly, experiences temperatures below freezing (but above 0 degrees F) in the winter. When I went to go grab another bottle, I noticed that it didn't flow quite as nicely as any of the other oils I had. Actually, it didn't flow AT ALL. It had turned into a pond-scum-green slushie. All of it. All of my other oils were perfectly fine, but this Bio oil (yes, I had very clearly marked which was which, and they were all different colors anyway) had frozen. When I set it in front of a heater, it returned to its normal unfrozen state, but I noticed a strange white-ish debris in the bottom of the container. I have no idea what it is, but I am fairly confident that it is a product of the oil or of the oil freezing, and not of anything that may have magically appeared inside a sealed container.

My two-strokes use premix, so I can't say for sure what would happen, but I hate to think what frozen oil would do in an oil injector or an oil tank. Maybe this would work just fine if you only rode when it was warm outside, but that's not going to cut it for me. I'll keep what I have left around for oiling gaskets and lending to frenemies in the summer months, but I'm definitely not going to run this in my bikes and I'm never buying this oil again.

This product does bump mpg a couple percentage points, especially on middle aged engines, but the effect wears off when the treatment runs out. The mpg increases aren't a result of your engine getting much cleaner, but due to less friction between the piston and the wall. This is why it is marketed primarily as an "UPPER CYLINDER Lubricant" (UCL). The bottle also claims to help valves seal better, presumably by filling in any small gaps with its oily viscosity. If this or piston/wall gap is way out of spec I doubt this or any other "filler" will help improve compression much.

If there is so much carbon on a valve that is not sealing you'll be better off pouring a dedicated cleaner like Seafoam through the intake. It also helps if your car is burning oil due to carbon-ed up oil control rings. It is doubtful that Lucas UCL will clear major deposits, but perhaps it helps keep deposits away in the first place if used regularly on a healthy, well maintained engine. If your primary goal is keeping deposits out of the engine though, it may be cheaper to Seafoam every 30k miles.

Finally, if your injectors are clogged, particularly with gasoline varnish, your'll probably want a polyetheramine based cleaner in the fuel tank like Chevron Techron/Lucas Regane/Redline SL-1. Shell and hand full gas stations put a smaller dose of Techron in their gasoline, but I like to use a full dose once a year/10k miles. Seafoam also attacks varnish when used in the gas tank, but Techron is especially good at this.

So is it worth putting Lucas UCL every fill up? Maybe, if it increases the mpg enough to pay for itself. Otherwise you can keep your engine and injectors cleaner with a combination of Techron and Seafoam, which don't need to be added at every fill up.

I am trying Lucas UCL to see if it can extend the life of forged 2618 alloy pistons from CP, which wear away very quickly compared to any stock piston. Low silicon forged pistons (< 1% Silicon vs. 12.5%) take time to expand and fill the bore on startup, so some lube should help scraping/wear in the meantime. They are also much softer so they wear at an accelerated rate even once warmed up. For a normal car with cast pistons, they should last hundreds of thousands of miles with regular maintenance, regardless.

I put 2 bottles of this stuff in my tank the last time I filled up (I have a 32 gallon tank, so one bottle wasn't gonna cut it) and noticed improvements within a day or 2. I know it wasn't the gas cuz I filled up at Walmart. I've used lots of fuel system additives and cleaners and what-have-you and this one is the best by far! Don't be fooled by the more expensive ones and think you're getting what you pay for. Slick50, Gumout, Prestone, Seafoam, etc. are rip offs and make no difference whatsoever. This stuff is cheap AND it works. Buy it.

Listen folks google Ethanol Damage and see what is going on these days. Our engines are being burnt up due to the ethanol in our gas. You have to use something to help with the drying effect of ethanol. I use a couple things, MMO Techron and this product. Techron is a great cleaner, but does not help lubricate the upper cylinder and this product does. MMO is like between the two products, a decent cleaner and a decent lube. Lucas Upper Cylinder is the "Lube" only, even though it says cleaner it is not. The "cleaner" is a product they use in oil that cleans, but not in the sense as you know what a cleaner is. The cleaner in MMO and Techron are flat out solvents which are very good cleaners. This product has no solvent, and the cleaner is an additive that cleans similar to what calcium does for engine oil. Whether or not you "feel" a difference has nothing to do with your cylinders needing this lube to protect your engine. I actually do feel a difference sometimes in various vehicles, and also I have not felt a difference in others. Some day your engine will be burnt out and you will have wished that you used an upper cylinder lube. Gas has a natural oil lubrication, ethanol does not, and that is why you need to add extra lubricating oil to it. 26 bucks a gallon with free shipping is a no brainier, a gallon lasts me over a year. I buy a small 4 ounce version from the auto parts store and use that to refill with my gallon. The gallon gives you 32 gas tanks worth of treatment.

I actually don't like Lucas's product line. Their oil products are junk if you ask me. But this product is the real deal, and whether or not you buy Lucas or another Upper Cylinder Lube, your engine needs these types of products to minimize the damage that ethanol is currently doing to it. Use a cleaner like Techron once every 4 tanks and use a lube in every tank. I've seen newer engines with 25k miles on them that look like burnt out engines that are 40 years old. THIS IS NO JOKE, THE U.S. GOV'T IS GIVING US THE SHAFT BY FORCING US TO BURN ETHANOL IN OUR GAS.

Okay, i work at an auto parts store, i wont say the name, but every time this stuff goes on sale, it flies off the shelves. When we have other cleaners like this on sale, and i offer it to customers, they refuse, citing that they only use Lucas. I myself have used it and ive been very happy with the results, it has made both of my cars happy.

This is good oil, and is a Group Three "synthetic" which means it is a highly processed "regular" oil which performs as well as a "full synthetic" and thus, by legal decision, can be called a synthetic in the US. It would NOT be called a synthetic in Europe. Wnat to know all about "Group III," try the "Bob is the Oil Guy" website... (BITOG.com) Using this oil has eliminated the little start up puff of smoke on my high miles Toyotas and reduced oil consumption to almost nothing.

Rotella T is a perfect oil; been running it in tractors, trucks and even gas engines for more than 20 years and it has served my equipment exceptionally well...however...AMAZON MARKETING ***PAY ATTENTION***

I understand your intent with "subscription" ordering, but for some people and some items it does not work. Rotella T Synthetic for example: to get it at the same price as I can get it locally I have to "subscribe", but the way I use oil, I need to order it as I need it. I typically always have 3-6 gallons on hand to change oil as I need to, and then I buy more to have on hand for next piece of equipment that needs it. Depending on the time of year and the equipment being used I am changing oil every month and other equipment maybe once a year. I have enough bookkeeping/ tracking challenges without managing a "subscription" for a product that has so many variables.

I don't want to pay more than I can get it locally. The only thing that forces me into our local Wal-Mart is oil and filters (seriously). Show us (your customers) some of the same loyalty we have shown Amazon for many years; give us your best price and let us order things the way we want or need to.

My wife and I are loyal Amazonians and will continue to be. The bottom line; I appreciate what Amazon has created, especially for people that are rural, isolated or incapable of getting to stores. Can we close the loop and do this "subscription" thing better? For some people and some products, it may work well, but when it doesn't work for others, should they have to pay more for the same product? At the end of the day, we are all buying products from somewhere...let's make somewhere Amazon and keep me out of Wal-Mart for good!

Brad Penn Penn Grade 1 10W30 Partial Synthetic Racing Oil Review

I was doing a lot of Internet research to find the best oil for my 40 year old, never been rebuilt, stock engine.

Prior to using this oil, my motor developed a ticking. Possibly due to a weak flat tappet lifter. Anyway, I visited the brad penn site and also read the helpful customer review here on Amazon and told myself if this stuff helps racing engines survive their harsh lives, this stuff should work for my stock engine.

And it has. The noticeable ticking has dissipated. Now I'm not saying this stuff will cure your motor from its ailments but if you want a better oil that will help to maintain and protect a fairly healthy engine then this is the right stuff. It also doesn't burn as quick or burn at all like other store bought motor oils.

........Race engines are not! We have been running Brad Penn Grade 1 10w-30 in our flat tappet race engines for many years with no additives and it performs very well! Highly recommended

Excellent tool to have in your box. If you own a late model car/truck, this quick trans line disconnect tool is a must have for your toolbox.

1. Blow out the dust/dirt from the connector

2. Slide in this tool to the quick disconnect clip

3. Rotate the tool which will expand the E-clip

4. Pull out the line.

Necessity for hard to reach places such as the cooler lines on the transmission, at the radiator, and junction spots such as on the Trailblazers.

Works well in all 2-cycle engines that I've tried it in (6 in all). Less smoke, less "gunk" build-up on pistons. Recommend it over standard 2-cycle oil.

After having a bad experience with the Green line of oils sold on Amazon, I switched over to this high quality oil. I have a 141cc 2-cycle Toro 2-stage snowblower. With this oil the snowblower runs quieter and smoother than when it was brand new with the Toro brand oil. Royal Purple makes excellent oils and I was happy to find this product. My only complaint is it is not available in pre-sized containers, so you have to measure yourself to get the right ratio.
