I needed a mat or something to catch the drippings off my wifes 98 Mustang. I had had a vinyl mat under it but the cost to put a new one there was $40. I spotted this mat while shopping for mats and decided to give it a try despite the cheap price. Well I was impressed when I unrolled the mat. It has a felt texture to it on top and is bonded with a non-skid backing. I have an epoxy painted smooth garage floor and was concerned the mat would slide. This is not the case it lays perfectly flat on the garage floor and stays in place. It works great too aborbing the drips instead of holding them for me to wipe up. Dont waste your money on more expensive solutions this product really works. I mean for $11? No risk here.

I think these are the best thing ever. I bought 2 of these a couple years ago, one for the oil leak on my car and the other for my snowblower. When I would bring my snowblower in the garage after a good snow, the next day it already put rust on my nice floor. With this pad it absorbs all the water. Now I bought 4 of them to put under my tractor after plowing snow. Works great.

This product absorbs / contains a lot of water and snow melt, preventing large puddles in the garage (and limiting the risk from slips/falls).

It is a good value for the price and makes clean up easy. I especially like it on snowy days. I don't have to knock snow off my car before driving into the garage, knowing that these little mats will absorb the water.

The only downside is that they can rip if you turn the steering wheel while the car is stationary on top of the mats.

This pad is great to keep a driveway or garage clean. The plastic backing keeps the oils from going through and works fine. The pad absorbs and keeps liquids from running down an angled driveway and it is a size that will span anything coming from the front of most vehicles.

Works great! Sits flat on floor without wadding up due to temp changes. I dont have a severe leak but it does a great job for what I have. Cheap and does the job.

I currently use this in a 2001 7.3l Powerstroke. The oil holds up well, even when run over my mileage limit for motor oil and in the heat of the Deep South towing a 30' camper. Since it isn't a synthetic, I use Lucas Oil Treatment to help it out, but only replace one quart on the refill. That combined with the AFE oil filter, makes for good driving.

I think the anti drainback valve on these is not so great. The media seems good and I am happy with the filtering overall but at startup this filter makes engine loud like there is no oil right away.

I have never had a filter related problem in all the years I have used these filters. Definitely work the few extra bucks over cheapo filters that are using paper elements.

The headline says it all. This $8 socket was the best price I found on Amazon. You absolutely cannot remove the GM oil pressure sending unit on my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 L V8 without it (and a flex joint, and a couple of long extension bars). The sending unit's wiring plug is on top of the unit and sticks up about 3/4 inch. This socket is deep enough to fit over the plug, but you have to be careful to keep it vertical or you will break off the wiring plug. Fortunately, I discovered this removing the old, defective unit. Also, place the new unit in the socket to feed the apparatus down to the block on installation. The chances are you will have to do the entire operation by Braille.

worked perfectly on my 2001 Chevy Suburban 5.3L V8 oil sending unit, took about 15mins to change out with this tool. Not a bad price for something youll probab use maybe 2 times in your lifetime

I bought this to install an ACDelco D1846A oil pressure sensor, and it worked awesome. Originally I was not going to buy this $8.00 tool, but I'm sure glad that I did pick it up, even if I only use it once. It saved me so much time under the hood, GM puts these sensors in hard to reach areas and if you are not a contortionist it may prove to be somewhat difficult without the right tool.

Amazon recommended tool for GMC 6.5TD oil pressure switch Great tool buy wont fit in the valley of the GM 6.5 L diesel. I had to make a crow-foot spanner to do the job, so the pretty lisle tool is unused.

It worked great...Don't try to remove/install a sender without one. You will be sorry if you ruin a $40 sender by either over tighten it or kinking the case... then it will leak.

When I bought this, it did not specify which variant of the 5w-40 this was. Ordered to find out. It is the MST version, the mid-SAPS oil.

This is neither a good nor bad thing. What it means though is that in gasoline vehicles in the US, due to the sulfur content in the fuel, you will get faster TBN depletion than with a full-SAPS version (the HST version of this oil has a TBN of 10 versus this which is 7.1). With a TBN of 7.1, it is not definite whether it is a 10k mile OCI oil, but it will do better than 5k miles, which is just about doable with a low-SAPS oil.

It is a pretty light 40wt, good for economy.

After a 5k OCI and a UOA, Ill update.

This is the 5w-40 SynPower MST (it's on the label). I've read a lot of great things about the quality of this oil. Approved for use in VW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz.

Great stuff, one of the best synthetic oils out there. Use it gas and diesels vehicles and it's certified by many manufactures for both uses. Sad to they just jacked the price up so I'm back to my local NAPA store for a lower price. To bad for Amazon as it was the place to buy this great motor oil.

Different grades different certifications; 5-40W is the only one with certification for TDI and other diesel engines as well as all gas engines. Great stuff if you run a multi-fuel fleet.

No other oil in Valvoline's lineup has this broad of a range use or certifications for Gas or Diesel. Just a side note I have not been able to find an oil from any other manufacture that can match it. As an example of why I use this oil I have a TDI with over 350,000 miles and the only thing ever touched on the engine is the timing belt every 100,000 and a couple of glow plugs. I also have several others vehicles well over the 100,000 mile mark with no engine failures.

I've used Valvoline SynPower SAE 5W40 in my 2006 Jetta TDI from 50,000 to 70,000 miles. I think it's a great oil that holds up as good, if not better than, Castrol SLX or Pentosin. I'm not tearing the wheels off my car, but I have a two hour commute to work and I average about 75 to 80 MPH on the highway. The price is good also!

This is definitely the best oil out there, I've heard about royal purple being good as well, never tried it, but, this one is just great. The engine runs unbelievably quiet and smooth.
