I have a 2002 Subaru Outback and this filter works great. The K&N nut is so handy to remove the filter, I would not go with any other filter anymore.

This filter gets the job done. Sure, it costs more than a fram, but it can not be compared to one. I Trust it will keep my oil cleaner longer, and if it gets struck when i need to change it, i do not have to stab it with a screwdriver, just wrench it off. A+ for this product, i use it on all my cars, would recommend to others. BEST MONEY CAN BUY!

K&N is well known for quality and it is great to be able to buy these on Amazon. I have a Mazda Protege and this is very easy to install/change given the wrench fitting on the end. No more messing around with oil filter wrenches or caps that get stuck on the filter. Quick and easy and quality too.

Been buying these for years. I match them up with Mobil 1 synthetic and credit them with keeping my Infiniti G35's engine in top shape!

Love the spot welded nut on then. Makes taking them on and off very easy with a 25 mm (or 1") socket on a 1/2" drive ratchet. No meesing around with silly oil filter wrenches.

These things cost about twice what OEM filters cost and in reality I have no idea if they really keep the oil cleaner, but it makes me feel better!

Best thing for the price. I buy this for every one of my oil changes. I use my mobil oil with this filter and it runs my car to 8000 miles.

Not much to say about paper oil filters except that these Fram filters do come with the o-ring. Oddly, other aftermarket filters may not. So check before you buy. The filter fit the application, no worries. Use the small plastic bag it comes in for disposing of the old filter.

The one nice thing about cartridge type filters, is that you can obviously see any defects. This one was perfect in every respect. I personally have never seen or had first had knowledge of an engine failure due to a defective fram filter.

This filter works great and replaced the OEM perfectly! Comes with a new seal which fit correctly. Oil had never been changed since new so this was a great improvement.

Did you know that the FRAM PH8A is one of the most widely used Oil Filters in the world for the last 30 years? If your car or boat has an early Ford 5.0L V8 engine, you'll find a PH8A oil filter on it. The reason this filter is so popular is because its large size allows it to fit on Chrysler 2.2L and 2.5L engines too.

Since I got my first car, Fram has always been the oil filter brand I would reach for. the PH8A was the standard ford oil filter for years, And I went through plenty of them. Always reliable and never a leak or ill fit. very consistent. It was a nice improvement whe they added the grip end to these as well, very hand when you have oil on your hand. .

decent filter, OEM quality, like many others out there. Price not currently competitive (rellative to W*mart), and beware of shipping fees. Grip enhancement actually works, but of no significance if you use a wrence as most do.

Fair price and this filter fits both my vehicles. I stock up on them at this price (three dollars and 77 cents). I've never had a problem with them. It's good to have them handy so you can change your own oil. Or, you can let a mechanic do it and wait half a day, or more, to get your vehicle back.

This filter was a replacement for a motorcraft FL1A on a PCM 351. Worked like a charm. No issues with installation or operation.
