Of course, you have the K&N name. Honestly, it's not like I can tell if the K&N oil filter filters oil better than another oil filter. But get this one any, if for no other reason than the fact that there's a hex protrusion on the end so you can remove it with a socket wrench when it's time to change.

I had a Fram on there before, and it was fine. But when it came time to take it off, I tried using an oil filter wrench, which just slipped constantly and the filter never budged (I think something had hit the filter at some point as there was a small dent on it, which probably caused the slippage). Then I pulled out the strap wrench, which BROKE before I could get the filter off. That's right, I broke the strap on a strap wrench!

With the K&N's, it's a simple matter of breaking out the socket wrench. So easy. It's worth a couple extra bucks just for that.

Look around though, if the price seems high. I paid about $7.50 for mine at a local bike shop.

Love this k&n filter, only one I use on my oil changes now. The nut on the end is a awesome designe, helps out a ton!

Very pleased with this filter. The nut on top makes for an easy installation and removal. And the price shipped was several dollars cheaper than what I could buy it locally for. What's not to like?

I generally love K&N filters and use them on our cars. Not only are they of exceptionally high quality, they are Made in the USA and Lord knows we can use the work here. I bought this filter for my bike assuming the same great K&N product I've come to know. I was very disappointed that I paid the premium price only to get a filter that while not bad quality, it's not up to K&N standards and it's not made in the US. It's made in Asia and with the quality not being up to snuff I would pass on this part number.

As an aside, Mobile 1 filters are the same as K&N except they don't have the weldnut on the bottom. Sometimes you can get the Mobil 1 filters for less money if you don't mind not having the weldnut feature.

I've always thought Wix filters were a bit more substantial than Fram filters. I've used Wix for years, always been happy with them. The Amazon price is a good as anywhere, and with a lack of nearby auto parts stores it's simpler to just get them on Amazon.

Has exceeded expectations. Out did the price which toyota calls for a filter( paper in a diet pepsi can).Has not leaked, warped, or done anything out of the usual and it holds well to a 60km daily commute. Its pretty small though (doesn't rob the engine of oil) and I do wish to know what filter socket I can use with it cause I've been hitting duds at all of the retail stores, so i still gotta pay a mechanic to do my changes :( but otherwise, I can recommend this filter blind folded!

Filter still going strong. No problems with leaks or burstage or pressure problems . Using fully synthetic Mobil oil with it and car has been great so far. For those wondering, the common toyota filter wrench...Assenmacher Specialty Tools TOY 640 Oil Filter Housing Cup Wrench for Toyota/Lexus... will work :)

I purchased this product because I believe in the Wix name. I have used other filters and it seems this filter keeps my oil cleaner over time. Most will say it doesn't matter just do frequent oil changes but if you are like me and occassionally press your vehicle over the normal change I recommend this product.

Bought 3 WIX filters. Over the years I have I have used almost every filter out there. WIX seems to be the filter to have as far as build quality, performance and reliability. I do buy Fram Air filters but removed them from my 'buy' list when it comes to oil filters. WIX is a great product!!!

This is an excellent valve. I have them on all 3 of my cars and trucks, and two on my generators. They work, and don't leak like cheaper valves. One of them is 15 years old and still works like it did on the first day. This is the best, and they are worth the money. I have the valves with the hose nipple. They make oil changes with a vacuum oil changer a breeze. Now if someone could just invent a oil filter that doesn't drip when you change it.

I have two Foresters with these installed. They both get about 50K miles a year, so we change our oil a lot. I put these on and now it only takes about 5 minutes to change our oil. We connect a clear hose to the nipple and run it out from under the car into a container and let it drain while we change the filter. There is zero mess now when I change my oil. I have had mine on for about 40K miles and have had no problems. It doesnt hang down far enough to cause any sort of clearance issues. Great idea.

So... I don't know what's up with the tables that tell you which filters you're supposed to buy for the Toyota Yaris, but they're wrong, at least for my car. I own a 2007 Toyota Yaris hatchback, and this is the filter size that fits. NOT what Amazon and other tables recommend. This filter is ridged so you can get a better grip on it when changing out your oil filter and seems to do a fine job.

As always, Bosch products are some of the best. It's hard to review an oil filter without imperial data, but I can say that the quality of build and materials is excellent. I bought several, and I trust it to protect my cars.

I use this filter on a John Deere LX 277 Tractor. It has a 17 HP FH500V Kawasaki engine, I also use this filter on a Kubota RTV 400CI. I use Bosch oil filters on my cars and trucks also.
