I have a backpack style leaf blower, a trimmer and now a chain saw (Sandy warranted it). I have been using the STIHL oil in all my tools for the past five years. They always start on the second pull (when cold) and run well. I had bought some 2 stroke oil at a local store to save money, but sanity prevailed.

I highly recommend this oil for any 2-stroke engine you might have.

I like to do my own oil changes. Good thing because the closest dealer to me is 65 miles and I wouldn't trust the local quickie lube with this one.

Remove bottom engine pan and drain old oil. This is an OEM filter so no problems with fit. Just get a 27mm socket for five bucks at harbor freight and you are good to go. Trick is to remove the top plastic engine cover (just pops off) and the air cleaner housing (pop out intake hose, remove top two screws and slide up and to the right) so you can get at and remove the oil filter canister cover. You will need just the right length socket/adapter/extension/ratchet handle length for the canister and a quarter inch drive handle and socket is useful for the air cleaner screws. It's all very tight in there. Be sure to get the socket all the way down on the canister cover nut. It is plastic and has built in spring loaded tensioning tabs so it is a very tight fit. The full pressure seal is made by the O ring (included) sliding inside the housing, so don't over tighten the canister cover. Be sure to lube the O ring with a little new oil before reassembly.

Great price, "Drop-in," convenience..... I was fortunate to have put in a "High-Flow" MOPAR intake that got rid of all the "Tupperware" on top of my engine. Now oil changes are really a 15 minute operation. This filter fit perfectly. I bought a 3-pack & I'm glad I did. The "detente" so that it stays seated correctly, while inserting fit & I'm 100% satisfied. I would recommend to anyone with a Fiat 500 who doesn't want to needlessly take to dealers. After using this Quaker State for 6,000 miles it came out of my vehicle like black coffee. I am not impressed at all especially since my vehicle hold 7 quarts and we drained just 5.5 quarts. So if you do the math my truck used 1.5 quarts in 6,000 miles. Not good. I have used other brands since it was new and never experienced an oil change like this one. Going back the the #1 selling synthetic oil after this one time try of QS. I know 6,000 is a little long but others claim their synthetics are good for as much as 15k. I normally try to change mine at 5k or less.

This is the oil additive to have for the 6.0L Ford diesels. We have two of the 6.0L diesels and literally hated to start them in the mornings. With this additive, no more dreading the starts or trips to Ford for injector repair! Hardest thing to do now is keep my foot off of the accelerator because it is so much fun now.
