Of course it doesn't come with the gaskets, but you don't have to change them all the time, unless they are ruined or worn.

Just as good as any other conventional motor oil! Use this in my 86 Volvo 240. I don't need that "fancy" overpriced stuff.

MAgnetic oil drain plug, magnet on oil filter...good to go. Change your oil every 3-5k miles.

Great oil at a cheaper price than I can find in any local store, shipping was fast. The oil may have been over packaged for just being oil I would expect that level of pacakaging with electronics but I'm not complaining.

This 5 quart oil jug was the most inexpensive I could fine for my Craftsman 22" cut lawnmower. Pairing it up with other items to reach $25 made it eligible for supersaver free shipping as well! I use synthetic oil in my cars, but I don't see the need to spend extra for synthetic in my lawnmower, and I have had no problems using this oil. Mower runs perfectly and doesn't use much if any oil between oil changes.

Recently did a complete overhaul of my beater Explorer Sport. Shocks, brakes, oil change, fuel filter, air filter, greased all fittings, flushed and replaced power steering fluid and brake fluid. Needless to say the SUV runs great for having over 260k+ miles on it! My front differential has a minor leak and every few months I top it off with this oil. Does the trick for a great price!

I like it and it worked great but when I put my Diff cover back on I had a leak so I had to fix that which means they put in what ever it is that they put in, I didn't get to put many miles on it but for what I did it was ok, I used it in my "99 Chevy S-10 4X4 LS EXT. Cab Slightly lifted 235-75R15 tires/wheel. mainly highway miles about 60 a day going to and from work carry the dirt bike, and stood up to getting buried in the snow and having to rock myself out for about 15+ mins. so i'd stand behind them no fried diff gears an they transmission still works perfectly fine 5spd. and held up fine when I found that hidden minimum maintenance road sometimes there just too tempting! all you country folks know what I mean :)

The job of the K&N spray oil is to insure long life and good filtering qualities from your *intially* expensive air intake filter. So far my Volkswagen "plate" filter has been swapped onto a second MK4 Golf that I bought (this time a GTI), and in total the filter has been filtering over 120,000 kilometers of dust (some 75,000 miles) with no problems and no costlier (in the long run) OEM paper filtering media. Maybe that doesn't sound like a lot of miles in the States, but believe me, here in the year-round hot, humid, dusty, really dirty, pothole ridden and salty Caribbean roads, that is truly a lot. My car is turbocharged and is expected to suck in way more air than "normal" cars.

NOTE: If intending on air delivery for this oil, I recommend instead buying the squeeze bottle. This aerosol can is registered as an explosive hazardous material NOT suitable for air shipping of any kind.

I have used K&N products for years. I have drag & track raced for over 50 years. I have watched engines dyno tuned with and without K&N filters. I have driven my personal cars with K&N filters for ever. Yes, they increase rear wheel horse power, torque and gas milage. This is a good size to buy and is enough oil to service a filter several times. The K&N oil has red dye in it so you can see when you have achieved full coverage. Great filters that when maintained, one filter will last as long as the car will last. Catches dirt better than the paper filters. Just be sure NOT to use hot water while cleaning. Hot water can make the filter uneven.

Must have the cleaner before using this. But get both and this stuff is awesome and does the job. Plus the 24 oz cleaner and 12 oz Oil and you save than buying the Kit.

These are terrific filters stay away from cheap-o's like fram (use YouTube to see comparisons). These sell for a little over $4 at my local walmart but over $8 here at Amazon.

This filter has shrunk dramatically. At least a third of length is gone. Purolator makes these for Motorcraft.

Just know that you are not buying the same FL-400s that was on the market in the past. Its also smaller that the image shown here on Amazon. Not sure why they needed to mess with something that was great. Bob the Oil Guy forum has a thread on this and someone there contacted Purolator an got a response that was less than straight forward. May still be a good filter, but don't look to it to match the oil capacity of the old and trusted FL-400s

I have been buying this filter for my 99 escort sedan and my 01 escort sedans. Snug fit, a bit different design than the fram 3600, but I feel more comfortable with this on my vehicle being a ford part. no leak problems, sometimes a tighter seal and harder to get off than a fram, but hey, its the ford part, might as well use it. About the same price as a fram if not cheeper as well.
