Amazon has this very difficult to locate oil. Pennzoil developed this 0w-40 for the SRT 6.4L HEMI motors with increased moly. (See press release) Dealerships carry the oil often at a premium. This is now the recommended SRT HEMI oil that supersedes the old Pennzoil 5w-40 oils. Mobil 1 0w-40 would be another alternative that is more readily available in the retail space.

This oil is hard to find in a retail store and when you do find it the supply is limited. My SRT requires 7 qts. This oil change at the dealer is around $100.00.

This was a really smart purchase for my needs. The gauge is accurate and responsive, threading the hose onto the fitting can be a bit fiddly as the hose has to turn with the fitting. The included adapters have (so far) met all of my needs (transmissions on Dodge Durango, Buick Regal and Honda Civic).

This tool is made the way it is described, but it is mostly useless for measuring transmission pressures as the gage oscillates wildly. I replaced the gage head with a liquid-filled unit and could use the tool and get stable, accurate readings.

i only paid $28.00 including shipping, i am very satisfied.

only regret, it was supose to come in a wood case, i recieved a plastic case that looks like wood.

When it comes time to do an oil change and tune-up on the car, I'd just as soon sit down and order everything I need from Amazon on Wednesday, and have everything on hand by Friday, to work on my car on Saturday. Better than chasing around to a couple different stores to get what I need for my Subaru, and I value the selection and reviews at Amazon.

I can't tell you if there's much difference between one oil filter and another in how well they filter the oil. I trust the Fram brand, and just buy their mid-range filters to go with the Mobile One synthetic oil and longer oil change intervals that I prefer (10k miles or 6 months). I do like that these filters have the grip built in on the ends I can often unscrew the filter with just my hands, it's easier to properly hand-tighten the filter when installing, compared to a smooth and possibly oily standard filter.

It's a good oil filter, that's why I've ordered 6 more.

The non skid end makes getting a grip on it so much easier.

The lubricant additive that's built in seems to provide that added protection...;-)

I can't understand what Amazon is doing with these filters. I've gotten them for under $5 and then a week later they're almost $8. Crazy. Regardless, it's a good filter and if the little gel thing really works you're pretty much good to go. It's a question of buying this filter or the high mileage oil with the additives package--you have to find out how to do things more cheaply. Considering this filter is $3 to $4 more than the regular old Fram, and high mileage oil is $3 to $4 more than the regular oil, you need to wait and see what goes on sale.

I do like the Fram rough finish on the cap. Makes it sooooooo much easier to get the filter off.

You can't really go wrong with these, I have a Civic that's over 200k and I don't exactly keep up with my oil changes as much as I should. Fram is a solid brand and the coating on the end helps a lot if you change your own oil.

The job of the K&N spray oil is to insure long life and good filtering qualities from your *intially* expensive air intake filter. So far my Volkswagen "plate" filter has been swapped onto a second MK4 Golf that I bought (this time a GTI), and in total the filter has been filtering over 120,000 kilometers of dust (some 75,000 miles) with no problems and no costlier (in the long run) OEM paper filtering media. Maybe that doesn't sound like a lot of miles in the States, but believe me, here in the year-round hot, humid, dusty, really dirty, pothole ridden and salty Caribbean roads, that is truly a lot. My car is turbocharged and is expected to suck in way more air than "normal" cars.

NOTE: If intending on air delivery for this oil, I recommend instead buying the squeeze bottle. This aerosol can is registered as an explosive hazardous material NOT suitable for air shipping of any kind.

I have used K&N products for years. I have drag & track raced for over 50 years. I have watched engines dyno tuned with and without K&N filters. I have driven my personal cars with K&N filters for ever. Yes, they increase rear wheel horse power, torque and gas milage. This is a good size to buy and is enough oil to service a filter several times. The K&N oil has red dye in it so you can see when you have achieved full coverage. Great filters that when maintained, one filter will last as long as the car will last. Catches dirt better than the paper filters. Just be sure NOT to use hot water while cleaning. Hot water can make the filter uneven.

Must have the cleaner before using this. But get both and this stuff is awesome and does the job. Plus the 24 oz cleaner and 12 oz Oil and you save than buying the Kit.

I have a 91 Camry with 196,0000 miles that I can't part with, and dealership has changed to 5W oil, which I don't think is as good for high mileage cars. Got this product and can't tell about gas mileage yet, but it is smooth as a top running on the interstate for an hour at 70 mph.....going use this oil and hope I get another 100,000 miles out of it. It uses about a quart between oil changes and this oil says it helps stop oil leaks. We'll see.

I used this oil for my last oil change in my 1998 Chevrolet Prizm (115,000 miles), and I've noticed that my gas mileage is better. I usually fill all the way up every week, but this past week, I didn't fill the tank all the way, and I was still able to go a full week on 3/4 of a tank without refilling :)
