Amazon has this very difficult to locate oil. Pennzoil developed this 0w-40 for the SRT 6.4L HEMI motors with increased moly. (See press release) Dealerships carry the oil often at a premium. This is now the recommended SRT HEMI oil that supersedes the old Pennzoil 5w-40 oils. Mobil 1 0w-40 would be another alternative that is more readily available in the retail space.

This oil is hard to find in a retail store and when you do find it the supply is limited. My SRT requires 7 qts. This oil change at the dealer is around $100.00.

I have been pleased with K&N before, mainly because of their nice reusable, cleanable air filters. So this oil filter seems to be as good as any. It was much smaller than my previous filter. I changed my oil about 5,000 miles ago and haven't had any issues with this filter. I'll buy another for my next oil change.

I have now switched over 3 motorcycles, 3 cars and 1 truck to K&N oil filters. The ones for the motorcycles work well with the OEM Kawasaki oil that I also wrote a review on and the ones for the 4 wheel vehicles will be using a popular brand of synthetic oil in conjunction with K&N.

Lucas Oil is a very good motor oil. I use it in my motorcycle. And it runs cooler than most oils.

Lucas oil does a great job. It reduces the temperature in my oil tank on average 15-20 degrees. I have tried other synthetics and they do no better than that. Your prices can't be beat.

He has always ran Mobile 1 Synthetic in is his Harley for years. He said after he had switched his bike runs smoother & doesn't burn any oil. I know his bike is highly modified and he watches the oil closely. He loves this oil and has ordered multiple boxes for all of his bikes.

I bought this oil for my 11 Honda Odyssey. Did the change, with a K&N Oil filter. My wife took the van on a quick 30 min highway trip, and got 29MPG........ So far I am very happy with this, and will continue to buy it as long as it stays lower than Mobil 1 in price. For those of you who are wondering, it is purple. I rate the oil 5 stars, but 4 overall because of the price factor.

Used Mobil 1 on previous change, thought I would try Royal Purple since it was only .50 more per quart (on sale). Very happy with results so far, gained about 2 mpg on average. Car seems move responsive to acceleration, but I also installed a K & N filter just after the oil change. Oil change intervals are 10,000 miles on my Honda Hybrid, so relative to a conventional change of 3,000 miles, its not a significant cost.

I am an enthusiast and expect a lot out of the products I buy for my car. This oil is of excellent quality. I am currently using this viscosity in my 2012 5.0 Mustang GT. The engine is quiet and smooth and I actually got slightly better highway mpg. The price on Amazon is great. I also use another viscosity in my 2013 Lexus ES350 and have experienced the same great quality.
