This filter has superior construction over many other filters and keeps my oil cleaner much longer. I used to use Fram, but after using these I am never going back.

I've used Mobil1 and K&N oil filters for well over two decades along with Mobile 1 and AMSOil fully synthetic motor oil in my family's two cars with no sign of performance degradation or hints of engine wear for a total of over 460,000 miles. Extra cost for this type of filter is well worth it.

this item is overpriced (12$) here...

i found the same mobil 1 filter at Walmart for 9.5$

seller should be aware of this market more than the customers.

thanks.

Easy to install...much better than what any oil change place uses. This is not as tall is OEM filter, but seems to work perfectly.

As far as I know this is a good item. Mobil 1 has great reputation so purchased this to use with mobil 1 oil. No problems noted.

I used this on the AMC 258 in my 1985 Jeep CJ-7. Perfect fit and the rubber gasket is a huge upgrade to the old leaky on that came with the jeep.

I used this when my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 L6 started leaking oil from the rear main seal. I figured I was going to do a rear main seal repair, I might as well get a new gasket. The gasket fit perfectly. I sealed it up with Permatex 82180 Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, and used Fel-Pro BS40183 Bearing Set for my rear main seal.

Perfect fit for my 1988 6 cylinder Wrangler. If only the factory had used this gasket I wouldn't have had to spend hours removing the oil pan and scraping the old gasket off. Hours to remove and clean, minutes to install!

This rubber gasket is a great initial improvement on any Jeep and it not only looks fantastic but I know it will hold up for a very long time.

On my 1976 Gremlin 258, this fit perfectly, and replaced a multi-part seal that was prone to leakage. I'd highly recommend this. There are washers molded into the gasket that help prevent overtorquing the bolts and crushing the gasket (although that is still possible...)

I wish I'd had this gasket type on every oil pan I've replaced, sure saves the hassle.

I use this oil in my 05 Ram and have no complaints. One of the best motor oils anyone can put in any engine. I also use the Royal Purple filters as well.
