The car this is used in is a Mercedes CLK430, which factory dictates I need a 0w40. In the summer, it's hot and don't need the 0w weight oil, so I'm only concerned with the 40w. Immediately after changing the oil over to this, the car ran smoother and cooler. It so smooth at times I had to look at the tech to make sure it was running. I've used AMSOIL, Royal Purple, Mobil1 HM 10w40, Shell 5w40 synthetic, and nothing ran as well as Redline.

I've been running Redline synthetic oil in my 5.0 track toy for years now, and despite seeing coolant temps as high as 240 on one occasion and oil temps regulalry as high as 275, my Blackstone labs oil analyses keep coming back with wear on the low end of the normal range. You can run Redline with confidence.

I bought 5 quart of this oil at my local walmart for $25. Amazon needs to be realistic about their prices.

But the oil itself is fantastic. Even though the recommended grade was 5w30 for my car, using 0w30 helped during cold winter temps. And it doesn't really matter in summers coz the normal/high temp grade is still 30. 0w30 should be the new 5w30 for all cars.

I started using this in my daughters '09 Ford Focus. The Car called for a synthetic 0-20. I saw this in Walmart for about $24 for the 5 quart bottle and gave it a shot. The car seems to perform better and mileage has gone up about 1-2 mpg.

When i got this car i got a low 15MPG, after a fresh oil change 5w30 i got up to 20MPG, then after 3000 miles I used 0w30 and now get up to 22MPG, so it gave me a 2MPG increase

Call me biased since I ride a Honda and Repsol sponsors the Honda Racing team in MotoGP, but this oil is really some of the best oil I have ever used. Without having scientific oil analysis done on the used oil, there is no way for me to quantify that other than to say how the motor cycle sounds, oil looks, etc after I started using this oil. My engine runs smoother, makes less noise, shifts better all since using this oil. The waste oil after changing, usually 2500-3000 miles, is still clean and looks newish. I also run this oil in my Yamaha dirt bikes with the same effect. I will continue to use this oil so long as it is available.
