The car this is used in is a Mercedes CLK430, which factory dictates I need a 0w40. In the summer, it's hot and don't need the 0w weight oil, so I'm only concerned with the 40w. Immediately after changing the oil over to this, the car ran smoother and cooler. It so smooth at times I had to look at the tech to make sure it was running. I've used AMSOIL, Royal Purple, Mobil1 HM 10w40, Shell 5w40 synthetic, and nothing ran as well as Redline.

I've been running Redline synthetic oil in my 5.0 track toy for years now, and despite seeing coolant temps as high as 240 on one occasion and oil temps regulalry as high as 275, my Blackstone labs oil analyses keep coming back with wear on the low end of the normal range. You can run Redline with confidence.

This fit as expected and looks good, the greater benefit will be when I change it. The 17 mm lug on the end will make removal of the old filter easier that removing a convential filter. K&N is a great product and I use these products when ever I can to make sure my bike runs at top performance.

Easy install and works great on my '06 VTX1300S. I can't see it unless I am laying on the ground so I'll probably just get the plain black filter next time and save a buck.

Used this on my Kawasaki Vulcan 800. Works great, K&N brand... nothing needs to be said about that. Looks great on the front of the bike, way better than a standard filter. Plus it has a nut on the end, making it easy to install/remove. Make sure not to squeeze out your o-ring though!

The part is, indeed, the correct part. Be cautious removing the old one. It is possible to crack the housing the old one is screwed into while removing it. That's not the fault of the new one, though!

Purchased for a 2005 Nissan Xterra S. It works like the old one did ... it actually monitors pressure real time ... so it's not a dummy gauge that will only show if you have pressure or not. I hear the OEM part for the 2006 Xterra's and later only have a dummy gauge. With this one you see the needle move up and down from idle to full open throttle.
