I should have bought these for my cars sooner. I first changed this puppy our for my drain plug on my 2000 Honda Civic as a test to see how it went. After a couple oil changes, I have no installed these on both of our cars and purchased a couple for family and friends. It truly is an awesome experience to climb under a car without any wrenches and complete everything under the car without coming back up. Also, no more fishing for a drain plug in a pan of hot oil. I have found that the oil seems to flow a little better if the engine is hot and the oil cap in the engine compartment is open.

After appreciating the design of this valve, I feel comfortable that it won't let me down. Hopefully I'll have the chance to update this after a few more oil changes to share any other tips or suggestions.

i using this adapter for almost 10 years and still using the original PU gasket since day one.

i do have a few adapter installed in my various car, so far i only experienced one of the PU gasket was leak due to over tighten the nut, so beware, and i replace it with some copper gasket, same function.

A valve VS. a bolt... simple choice right? Other than the obvious positive outcomes of switching to this, the product itself is very well constructed. While I was poking a prodding at this valve trying to understand its operation I accidentally dismantled it and caught a good view of how it works. All of the junctions are tight and the valve ball moves smoothly from one position to the other. The small thumb lever that switches position of the valve is good and tight in its movements, but not too tight as to require an extensive amount of force to change. Installation was a breeze, and some of the other comments go into more detail concerning the procedure. This device eliminates the need to kick and knock and break loose your drain plug time after time. I looked into this valve after I took my car in for an oil change (for the last time) and they torqued the drain plug so tight that it took me 4 hours to remove it by hand. Never again I said. This valve saves about 10-15 minutes, and is worth every penny.

I have these on both of my vehicles & they work great. I do recommend getting the brass pinch clip that helps lock it in the closed position.

Arrived quickly. Smell is great. My only complaint is that the smell dies out quickly. Barely get a month before the oil is depleted.

This is a terrible scent. I bought it after reading on a random website that 'Fresh Waters' was a good scent. Instead, came back to my room half an hour after turning this on and I couldn't stand the smell. Had to use Febreeze and leave my window open in twenty-degree weather for the smell to clear. It smelled like a dirty mixture of soap and something else. It's really really terrible, give this one a miss.

So strong when you first plug them in I have to take it out and plug back in repeatedly first week. Then after the second week they seem to just vanish into thin air. No pun intended. I never smell it again and the cat's litter box in the bathroom this is plugged in overpowers it. So, I would have to say not worth the money if it lasts just two weeks.

Tried this in my last oil change with MPZ added and I can really felt the difference almost instantly. Bear this in mind, not many EO in the market that you can really feel it on your butt-dyno after each oil change. I had already ran 1K of mileage on this oil and so far so good. Just wish this is cheaper.

What a clown act. They sent the wrong filters, as in the wrong part number and they looked nothing like the items ordered.

So, I printed the label, followed the instructions, and sent them back.

They said they never received them back and were going to charge me. I corrected them and said I had.

That was weeks ago. Now they've charged my card for not returning them.

I'm contacting my bank Monday to stop this.

To review, THEY sent the wrong part. THEY weren't aware of the items being returned to their store. THEY are unresponsive to me. THEY have charged me for items I don't have.

EDIT: Powersport Superstore supplied the (wrong) filters, and not Cycle Stash. Great, Amazon has changed vendors so now I can't criticize the offender. Ultimately, it's Amazon's responsibilty so I suggest not buying filters from them.

Theres not that much to say. I enjoy the high quality of the Mobil1 filter, and I use Mobil1 synthetic in my 2011 Jeep Wrangler JK. This filter fits perfectly because it is the same as the M1-102 (which I think is the number of the stock size) except this one is about 30% longer, which means it has more filter area so it can handle more dirt and grime. I would be okay changing the filter only every other oil change with a larger filter like this and high quality oil, but I do change it every time anyway. This price can't be beat.

I always use Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil in my truck paired with a Mobil 1 filter. After recently discovering that Walmart sells Mobil 1 Synthetic for almost $10 cheaper than any auto store or online, I decided to see if I could find the filter for cheaper also. FilterDump had the best price I've ever seen. These filters run about 12.99 in a local auto store.. got it here for $8 and free shipping with prime. Will consider buying the 6 pack next time, as I didn't see this before hand. Thanks!

These did great in all the testing I have read. I'm happy with quality and price. Should keep the oil clean... It's a filter, it's got paper elements like everyone else, and a bypass like all good filters. Larger size lets it trap more than the stock (in my case) giving it a longer life.

This is a replacement for a stripped oil pan plug. I had an aluminum pan with a stripped hole. The plug was a 12mm x 1.25 pitch taper thread. This is a replacement for that opening and will cut new threads in the hoe with a steeper (1.75) pitch. If you use cutting oil and back out after each half turn to clean out the shavings this will work well. I had good luck with this and at a fraction of the cost of other methods.

Been using this for years in my 2003 Kawasaki ZR-7S, and air-cooled inline four. Engine has ~47,000 miles and not burning any oil. The Repsol bottle has a nice tube that pulls out for pouring; great if you don't have a funnel or can't get a funnel to work because of space limitations.

Addendum: It's about a year later and I just purchased more of this from this same seller. Bike has ~52,000 miles now and all is still well. Love this oil; wish my local dealer would stock it.

awesome product just wish they came is quarts of 3 not 4 quart bottles other wise i would of just spent the extra cash to buy 2, 3 quart containers just a suggestion to the company :)
