I never thought that a plastic oil can would be so handy, the spout is a little stiff, but would rather have it a little stiff than too flexible and make unneeded messes for sure. I may even buy a second one for other uses

This is a nice size dispenser. The only problem is the fill hole is to large and to close to the pour spout. If you are not super careful you end up with alot of oil on top of your engine. Pour spot is to short and to stiff also. I bought both the 6 and the 8 guart and both have the same problem.

Makes measuring and pouring out the proper amount of oil at oil change time much easier. Container is translucent enough to see oil level. Very happy with this product as it makes a messy process much more tidy and precise.

Our local auto parts stores regularly sell 5+ quart oil jugs on sale with free oil filters. The problem is, my cars only call for 4 quarts. The graduated markings on this oil dispenser make it easy to measure out 4 quarts from the 5+ quart oil jug, then simply add to my engine. Works well!

Extended Service compatible. You pay for what you get in this case very well made filter I might add this filter is noticeably heavier than Motorcraft and the Wix filters I use to use till I starting seeing more and more with made in China on the box I will stick with royal purple filters and Amsoil from now on.

This filter, as per the specs, does a great job of filtering the oil in the engine. A well-constructed filter.

THIS IS THE FILTER I'D CHOOSE, I WOULD USE SOMETHING ELSE IF I COULDN'T FIND IT, BUT IT WOULDN'T BE THE PREFERRED ONE.

Honest reviews on Royal Purple 20-500 Oil Filter

I have to admit, I am a bit of a geek, often "over-analyzing" minor things like what my foot-pounds of torque are at various RPM stages and comparing my power band arc to other similar makes and models. That said i did some analysis into what oil would do well with my car. I wanted to make sure that I didn't choose just "any" synthetic oil, after all there are still different levels of quality when it comes to Synthetic oils as well. In my opinion the oil and filter you put in your car is one of the single most important things any car owner can do. Here are my before and after calculations to Synthetic,

Given: I drive a Ford Edge Sport Edition (this is the same Engine as the Lincoln MKX)

Before Running OE conventional Oil: City MPG 18 / Hwy MPG 21

After Switching over to Synthetic High Performance: City MPG 18.7 / Hwy MPG 24 (holy crap!)

Improvement: City 3.8% increase / Hwy 14.3%

*Note: My wife often says I drive like a bat out of hell, so keep in mind your results may vary from mine.

Customer Ratings:

I have always used Valvoline. I believe in synthetic oils and this was a perfect match. I just wish it was availiable to me locally and not something I now have to buy on line.
