this would have been a 5 star, but the crush washer for the drain plug were not included in the package.

good think I read others comments as I would not have ordered the gaskets which cost $10 for 2 of them.

please update the description or ship the washers with the product.

This works fine as a filter and fits my 2003 996 just fine like OEM. It comes with the paper filter element and the rubber ring. As others have stated, THERE IS NO METAL CRUSH WASHER IN THE BOX. I did not know this so I had to reuse my old crush washer on the drain plug. It was not a one off omission, I bought 2 filters and neither contained a washer.

I ordered this because of that fact only you can get this same filter cheaper here on amazon but i went with this one because it had that gasket...now my car is in the air and now i have to go to the stealer to get one

I followed the recommendation of 3,000 to 5,000 miles on the first two oil changes. I'm using this oil in a 1982 VW Vanagon Westfalia. This oil has made the engine run quieter and it gets between 1 and 2 miles per gallon better fuel mileage. I have to believe this indicates the engine will last for more miles than with conventional oils. Ron H.

I buy this particular "HPS" Royal Purple because of its higher zinc levels for my older cars. It also has their "synerlec" technology. The regular Royal purple you buy off the shelf has been reformulated to meet smog standards now in place and doesn't have the additives I need.

Official replacement filter for a 2013 Chevy Sonic 1.8L. I always highly recommend using OEM filters particularly for 2 reasons quality and price. You'll never compromise quality with OEM material since it provides great filtration and oil filter pressure and the price is usually better than your local automotive store.

This past year we bought a new Chevy Cruize and with the need to begin using the expensive sythetic oils as recommeded by the manufacturer the cost of oil changes were extravagant. I often wonder how simple it might be with this vehicle to change the oil myself. And presto, the oil filter system is at the top of the engine and with a simple wrench from my tool box I could change the oil with no mess and no fuss. The oil filter simply slipped into the filter housing so easily that a child could do it.

I've been using mink oil to recondition my leather boots for years. It's easy to apply, and rejuvenates the leather. I highly recommend anyone with work boots, or classic leather hiking boots apply mink oil every few months to keep the leather in good shape and keep up their water resistance.

Let me start off by saying I have had horses all my life and so I have a lot of experience with cleaning and conditioning leather. I recently purchased two pair of expensive Frye boots and I wanted to keep them looking good as well as protect them from water and salt damage. I looked all over town for a good mink oil and could not find any. This mink oil is very clean looking and pretty much order free. I applied it with my fingers to work it into the leather. That way the heat from my hands distributes and penetrates the leather better. I also saved product by not wasting it on a cloth or other applicator. It washed off easily and my boots look and feel fantastic. It did darken the leather at bit but I like the color now better now than before, so that is fine with me. You may want to buff the leather after applying to remove any residue. I just let my boots sit a few days to absorb as much as possible. I would highly recommend this mink oil, and have done so with my own family.

Others may like that this is lightly scented, but I prefer unscented. Otherwise, it's okay.

Rant -I hate that just about everything we buy now is scented and dyed. If you want something without added perfumes and color, you have look for hypo allergenic versions (if available) or buy higher priced specialty products. Manufacturers make poorly designed washing machines that promote mold and mildew, so most detergents are now highly perfumed so your clothes don't smell. Son is allergic to Red #40, but it seems like those ground-up beetles are added to just about everything! Why does medicine have to be dyed?! Catsup needs to be redder?! Seriously?! ARRGGGHHH!!!!
