For months, I have been searching for the best product to remove oil and transmission fluid stains from my driveway. The stains were months old and every product I used had failed. I was at an auto parts store over the weekend and decided to give Oil Eater a try. The price was very reasonable (about $11.00) and appeared to be very versatile. Once I got home, I poured some Oil Eater on a couple well-settled stains. After letting the product sit for about 15 minutes, I poured a little more on the stain and began lightly scrubbing the stain with a push broom. Finally, I rinsed the surface with a water hose and the oil and transmission stains disappeared! This product is wonderful -it has my endorsement.

I had this product on hand to clean my grill and one day got a really bad grease stain on a very nice blouse and thought I would try the oil eater on it, since it was runined anyways and to my surprise it came out.

I have been using it ever since to get stains out of my clothes and tell all my friends about this product.

I cant explain how awesome this stuff is. It works amazing at cleaning up oil from every surface I have tried it on. I've used this on automobiles, machinery, tools, oil stains in cement, on the BBQ, general purpose mopping/cleaning. Do be careful though, if you don't wear gloves than you will have VERY dry hands (think about it, it cleans up oil, your hands have natural oils). Their website has tons of details on recommended mixtures for different applications and how to use it in those applications. Also this is biodegradable so its "safer" than some other harsher chemicals.

While this is awesome for oil based grime, its not great for non oil based in some cases, like when I tried to clean cement that had general stains (not oil based) and it didn't do much. But then again the product didn't claim to do that, so I cant knock it for it.

Why 5 stars?

Have an oil mess? It cleans it! Its that simple. What would require scrubbing and scrubbing to get off you simply spray (maybe wait 30 seconds) and wipe off :-)

I want to tell you somethin' off up in heeyah now! We took the plastic sheeting like they said in the instructions and stapled it to the walls about 3 feet up and poured that puppy in there! My cousins and me jumped in there and started slippin' and slidin' and we got all miscombobulated and ended up in a kinda configuration like a kickboard body surf wall lining. We was all around that house but nobody was in it I want to tell you! You know, the funny thing was, my wife's bra got lubricated and she kinda spilt out a little. Of course my cousins thought that was manna from Heaven rainin' down like gum drops from chim-ney tops. After they calmed down they all wanted to play football then and I needed a drink so we didn't do that but them cousins got out there and played some greased pigskin. Especially that female cousin. She whooped all them boys asses. I got a grand-daddy that'd whoop her ass though. But anyway, this is some good lube and it's non-toxic and bio-degradable so it won't make your significant other break out in some kinda rash or somethin'. It's a pretty purple color too like grape KoolAid. My Grandad told me he smelled grape bubble gum evertime he poured that stuff on the floor. I can't witness for that but he's old.
