I have used this oil in my Genuine Scooter Stella motor scooter for 6 years. Iy is great oil, low smoke and my engine runs better than day one. Service and price were better than local. This is a hard to find oil in my area, so this was an easy choice. Arrived as expected and well packed.

Do not buy this if your vehicle takes more than 5 quarts of oil or you will be panicking to clean up a mess!

I am absolutely certain it was not damaged during shipping so I can rule that out, besides I used it first to change the oil in my own car and had no issue with it. I immediately used it to change the oil in my wife's car and something caused it to crack, spilling about 4 quarts of oil on the garage floor. Neither cars' oil was hot, I did not drop the pan, nor did I drop anything in it. The only thing I can think of is that after I drained my car, I poured it into my recycle jug; perhaps the weight of the 5 qts of oil deformed the pan enough to crack it when I lifted it and since the pan was empty I didn't notice it. Its sort of a reach, but I have no idea how it would have cracked. I'm sure I got a defective one, but I think I'll spend a few more bucks on something more solid.

I have this drain pan, although I didn't buy it at Amazon. It works fine as a container to drain oil, but when you want to pour it into a container to take the oil to be recycled, it spills everywhere since the spout is terrible! It looks like a spout but was clearly never tested when this piece of plastic junk was designed. The oil dribbles around the edge of the spout and spills everywhere when pouring it out of the pan. I recommend you get one with an enclosed tube pouring spout, which you can find anywhere but tend to cost a little more.

The black bottom they call suregrip helps make the installation/removal much much easier. I used to use filter clamps for installation they can get a little slick. The black bottom suregrip seems like made of rubbery paint and with lots of wrinkly texture to them to help with the grip. Clever idea. Big help.

These are not the extended life oil filters that go 10,000 miles. Those would be Fram XG16 oil filters. The PH16 is a 3-6,000 mile filter

Be sure to use extended life oil with longer life oil filters like Mobile-1 synthetic.

The filter arrived in good shape the black bottom is 'gripping' that helps one tighten the filter in place even when hands are oily.

The price is comparable to the brick and mortar stores and delivered free with amazonPRIME.

I purchased this gauge as a backup to check my electrical gauge should the electrical gauge not work. I purchased the tubing kit as I was under the impression that the gauge did not come with any tubing or fittings. I was wrong! Amazon should make it clear what's included. Now I've spent an extra $7+ on a $10 gauge for nothing! I gave it 3 stars because it's a cheap gauge not used yet, Amazon's lack of details, and I don't expect it to be a top of the line performer!

I bought this 5 gallon pail thinking I would get two oil changes for my diesel truck which needs 10 quarts per change. I carefully measured the quarts for the first oil change, using only 10 quarts. That should have left 10 quarts for the second change. When I did the next change, I came up 3/4 of a quart short. I called the company and was told they fill the pails by weight, not by volume or liquid measurement. I informed them that I had purchased 5 gallons, regardless of how they fill the pails and that i was now short for a complete oil change. The customer service person apologized and immediately sent me a couple quarts, free of charge. I was advised that they would be looking into the filling process to ensure that 5 gallons was in fact 5 gallons.

It is a great synthetic oil and I am very happy with it. It deserves 5 stars and I would have given them except for the short change....

Used this oil in my Ford 7.3 with a slide in camper on the back. 5,000 miles driven. No loss of oil. Vehicle started and ran well. Toss up between Amsoil and Royal Purple. Make your own choice but Royal Purple does not make an oil filter for the 7.3. Extended drain intervals are good but you have to change your oil filter to extend. K&N were recommended by Royal Purple. Amsoil makes a filter so there is no inconvenience if you are traveling. All in all, it seemed to work well in my truck.

For the discount price I bought it at ($72.00) it was cheaper than buying 5 gallon containers, but not as convenient to fill my 12 quart diesel system. Seems to help truck run cooler and better performance than normal oil.

My 6-cylinder car has over 167,000 miles on it and the motor still purrs like a... well, you know. I recently added Royal Purple 15W-40 for the first time. After driving perhaps 1,500 miles with the Royal Purple, everything seems fine. The motor still purrs. Besides, how the heck can a regular consumer like me rate a motor oil unless something goes horribly wrong? If all goes well, you simply say that it's good stuff. And how does a regular consumer justify paying the price of this stuff? Perhaps in a year or so, when the Royal Purple has 12-15K miles on it, I wll give it another review. For now, I'll just say that...having it in my engine gives me a little more piece of mind. Just a little.
